Marshall Fourth Lesser Review: Again on the tour

From Radiohead to Bohemian Rhapsody, a well -executed minor has the ability to determine a song. Therefore, with a name like Marshall Minor IV, expectations are high for the latest real wireless earphones of the company, especially when its predecessor – which was launched three years ago – feels a little.

For the same price as their predecessor, Minor IVS offers better sound credentials (especially for iOS users, who got a raw deal with the IIIS minor), distinctive aesthetics, and great improved battery life. But despite the repeated “True Trueer” promise, its loose design harms the sound quality without frequent modification.

Pros and negatives

  • Charging faster than the claim
  • Easy preparation, decent customization through the application
  • Beautiful aesthetics inspired by Marshall
  • Good price
  • Feeling cheap and lightweight
  • Critical touch control and work environment
  • A loose seizure of sound quality
  • Only once Colorway at launch

Price and availability

Improved affordable prices

Marshall unveiled the fourth minor, along with its main earphones in the ear on April 23, both of which were internationally sold on the same day. The fourth minor costs $ 129, which is the same. It is available directly from Marshall and a third -party retail dealer, including Amazon.

It should also be noted that if you are ready to lose generations promotions, the minor IIIS 2021 is now reduced to $ 100 (although it is not available directly from Marshall in the United States anymore).

What is good in the fourth minor Marshall?

Good look and fast charging

Marshall’s bud at the end of the real initiative, puts a good initial impression, with a distinctive pill tissue on the surface of the case-just like a phenyle-covered with brand-covered vinyl-offers a good look and a prominent appearance. The front part of the issue permeates the marginal logo embossed prominently, of white silicon rubber that occurs to have great anti -slip properties when the box is applied to face as well.

The buds themselves are made of tight plastic (recycled after the consumer), with the exception of early metal stems, which highlight one of the main improvements to the fourth minor generations: different from the vertical design of its predecessor by about 20 degrees to help expand what Marshall describes as a “epist in an author” in this generation.

Basically, the audio port in the top of each bud and placed microphone at the end of each leg is now more logical for the place where your ears and your mouth are located, which is a similar air conditioner for the development of the design seen on the APLINE APLINE coding from Apple.

The open-cell design of silicone ear tips, as in Marshall Motif II ANC-gently falls into your ears, giving up common issues that come with closed design buds, such as pressure accumulation. As a result, prolonged corrosion is much comfortable, allowing you to get the maximum benefit from the battery extended in IV. Despite its suitability, in the test, the ear on the simple IVS has never been detected, making the position the position to stop the quick selection of my ocean or a smooth extended conversation.

To take out the appearance and feeling, the upper face of each bud is characterized by the distinctive “M” for the Marshall logo, which also helps to highlight the sensitive area of touching each ear. Meanwhile, the copper covers that were presented at the bottom of each leg on the III minor are now joined by a supplementary insert, as another touch serves another installment that adopts this famous aesthetic.

The preparation is a Sdo, with one pair of flowers by pressing the ecclesiastical button for a long time at the bottom of the box until the small LED is back on the front blue. Android users will also support Google Fast Pair for fast switch devices, while the supplementary Marshall Bluetooth app works without a defect in the test. In addition to the independent battery levels of the condition and each bud, you can adjust the touch control functions, the battery preservation mode, and allocate EQ.

By default, IVS Marshall, with a focus on its highest detailed levels and rich bus. However, there are four other prior settings on hand that enhance or reduce the frequencies, mid or triple, as well as the custom user profile, where you can control each of the five frequencies.

Like their predecessors, you support small IVS wireless and wireless charging, but Marshall has increased the long battery life, which, in the test, passed these buds or exceeded expectations. The buds themselves-as they promised-work for 7 hours solid on one charge (tested in the size of 60 % while breaking the drivers in), while the condition gives up to four additional charging, which means that the total battery life exceeds the total number of 30 hours, which makes it great for the extended operating sessions and extended periods of an energy source.

What’s more, both buds and the case are fully recharged about 10 to 20 % faster than Marshall quotes, with recharged hours without seeds (Marshall 1.1 hours) and recharge time 1.75 hours for this case (Marshall quotes two hours).

What is bad in the fourth minor Marshall?

Essence

Marshall Menor-IV -view-bud-in-ear

When it comes to ear headphones, regardless of their quality, nothing if they do not have a strong attack. Despite the clear efforts made to improve the Minor III design, Marshall still has a job to do in this field, even with the main revised design with the angle leg. He is to improve. However, the dimensions of the buds and surface finishing means that they can still work on their way after just a few minutes.

Poison this with the open buds and the deficiency of the African National Congress Party (cancellation of active noise), and that the Voice of Marshall’s signature does not shine without continuous reset. Long live the response of the brightness and death of the quality of suitability, so it is the first thing that you should go when the small IVS begins in the explosion (gently pushing the buds to your ears a little is a quick way to hear the amount you miss).

In the end, to combat this, I turned to the EQ profile for promoting the response of the brightness (as well as MIDS, where audio tracks and speech are also from virtual equation).

Although the simple IVS looks at the part, one of the first things you will notice when picking up the case is how much she feels light and cavity (even when the buds are drawn). You have accepted more weight for greater battery age

Both controls in the ear and touch are impressive. However, the mode and size of the sensitive area of touch makes the simple IVS setting in each ear (which you will do a lot, remember), without stopping your music by mistake or skipping the next podcast, which is a real challenge. Early legs calls for easy treatment and do not pose the same risk of operation, but it is not the most comfortable way to adjust suitability.

Should you buy it?

It seems that the appropriate issues of the predecessor of the fourth minor continue to this new input for 2024. However, provided that you can find the working ear staff, EQ settings to complete, and you can make peace with touch control mode, easy to prepare these buds, offer respectable age, and this provides unresolved.

Marshall Minor IV is a welcome return for the real wireless buds of the brand. It stands out with its distinctive ASP aesthetics, easy preparation, a solid feature group, and the wonderful battery life. However, the loose suitability – something that their predecessors suffered – undermine the quality of the sound, while the weight and finishing leave the product cheaper than it is already.
