Wooting 60He+ Review: Easily the best mechanical keyboard for a competitive feature

by red

In the past few years, we have seen the return of mechanical keyboards from the eighties, most of which are in highly used environments, often circulated by players. Although their attractiveness is now acquired, our favorite mechanical keyboards use a slightly updated interior but the same operating principles of Yore technology. Hall Effect Keys benefit from huge production the ability to withstand costs, making the technology method easier than it was a day.

Wooting 60He+ is the latest enhanced version of the keyboard in the Dutch brand hall. You spent more than a month used in every imaginative application to determine if this is only for players or if you should buy in the noise as well. After all, this is at the end of the 60 % batch of keyboards with the full construction of the plastic.

Pricing, availability and variables

A lot to choose from

Wooting 60He is only sold on the company’s website. There, you can choose between a completely assembled model with a value of $ 175 like the way we have experienced or $ 140 unit you can associate with your key keys, key silencers, and dedicated condition. The cost of the WOOTING Aluminum’s aluminum box for $ 90 and can ships in a variety of short finishes.

Wooting provides unit buyers a choice between 45 g and 60 grams of Rabia weights in the keys to the effect of the Lekker Hall Gateron Hall, with a trade package for $ 20 each. The Black PBT PBT comes standardly with the previously created version, but you can add a white set for an additional $ 30 or a yellow drainage set in this review for $ 50. The dye collection comes in a variety of colors, but we suggest that they adhere to the yellow because it gets better with the guaranteed cable, rubber feet, and a cosmetic belt.

Therefore, 60He+ can return you anywhere between $ 175 and $ 295, except for sales and shipping tax. At the time of writing this report, the keyboards were available on Backorder, so it might take some time. However, although it is the main headquarters in the Netherlands, Wooting has warehouses in the United States. The company also accepts 30 -day revenues and provides a four -year guarantee on 60He+.

What is good in Wooting 60He+?

In its own technology association

Wroting is charged every 60He+ pre -created in an elegant box with a guaranteed dust cover, a nice postcard, two lekker switches, a retainable wrist belt, backup nails, a key preparation, and a matching cable. All parts covered the quality, although the keyboard is fully made of plastic. To understand what makes the Worting Special completely, you will need to distinguish magnetic keys from traditional mechanical keys.

Lekker magnetic keys are not welded

The latter on panels such as Drop Cstm65 use copper sheet from the inside to transfer “on the state” when depression and “stop” condition otherwise, but the Gateron Lekker’s keys in Wooting have a magnet connected to the leg part. The effect of the effect of the hall installed under each key on the PCB sends a voltage change that fits with the proximity of the magnet, which gives the key many cases “on” along the 4 mm key travel, but with no material contact points vulnerable to wearing.

While mechanical keys usually work in the middle of the road while traveling down, players prefer options such as Silver Silver Cherry MX, which have a distance and reset distance. However, with the presence of Hall Effect keyboards, you can customize the operating point with 0.1 mm in anywhere between 0.1 and 4 mm, all without changing the key.

Worting allows customization through special programs, WOOTIICITION, available on the web and Windows operating system, Chromeos and Mac. It is responsible for providing fixed program updates and accessing everything that distinguishes 60He+ from each other.

I can prepare profiles for each application that includes keymaps, switching switching distance, replacement reset distances, and input specifications. All your changes are committed to the 60He memory on the plane, so connecting the keyboard to another computer brings your settings.

WOOOTIIITY on the web

Together, these settings definitely give a competitive advantage in FPS archers and simulation headings. For example, you can press the keys lightly to walk and adjust them all the way to run or provide strangling inputs and control -like brakes, instead of trampling on it such as the operating key/stop. I haven’t tried to play fast -paced games like OSU, but it is easy to know how to customize deep devices.

Wooting also provides a single Macro programming tool called wootimation, which can benefit from prudent lovers. All programs were relatively easy to use, even if you were new to customize the keyboard. I liked the brief feature and logical classification of options all the time.

Even otherwise, the WOOTING keys found more smoothly smoother than the famous linear switches such as Gateron and Smoothies Oil Kings, which makes them great options even for writers. Although we cannot test the durability in the short time frames, the four -year guarantee and the lack of physical communications appear to be promising the service age for a longer period of the durable mechanical keyboard.

What is bad in Worting 60He+?

Simple displays and fears

There are no Falib’s feet under the case

The huge production advantages of Hall Effect made it cheaper for their production, but Wooting at the end of the end of the mechanical keyboard is still 60 %. Although you get all the jobs required for the price, I feel that the model was not yet. Specifically, I hope the plastic box will include intermittent feet for an adjustable writing angle like most other keyboards with a similar construction. The filed wrist belt is also a cosmetic attachment at best, but it is not functional.

The wrist belt is just cosmetics

Certainly, you get great belt points, but in practice, magnetic keys are still under progress. Although there are no welding connections, or any copper contacts for this issue, the Lekker Switches are hot switches, touch and click switches are not yet available. At the front of the program, both Wootimation and Wootility are open source but are different from QMK because Wooting is now using an arm control over 60He+.

Wooting 60He+ is an Effect Effect keyboard with roles that take the best features of mechanical keyboard and make them better. The smaller model factor may deter 60 % of the use of Numbad and NAV switches to work, but it is a very common size among the players because it increases the space of the mouse movement as well. However, Wooting also sells larger keyboards like 80He if you are comfortable to photograph additional money and lose some compatible cases options. Otherwise, we cannot recommend Wooting 60He+ enough if you like to customize the compact keyboard.

Hall Effect Keyboards are a place in the space of the mechanical keyboard, but Wooting has started everything. VGN and Keychron panels are available, and you can check it before the trigger is withdrawn.

While players can extract unit -like performance from the Wooting 60He+, the devices are also strong enough to use them as a daily Typist weapon. If you have the money and you are comfortable using the main sets of secondary job classes, the customization in Wooting and technical ingenuity make it irrational.
