Since its debut in April, the new 12-inch Retina MacBook has not seen so much in the case of functional, protective travel displayed online or in brick-and-mortar stores. Fortunately, San Francisco -based Accessories Manufacturer Waterfield has just released a single travel sleeve for Apple’s new MacBook, but has released a complete line of bags and cases for the primary adopters on the device.
Waterfield has sent me “Dash MacBook Sleeve” to review, and the case is covered in a black ballistic nylon outer shell, but your brand-new MacBook will not scratch or scoffs while resting inside the case. The back of the dash comes with a mesh mesh that will contain accessories like cable and headphones and to ensure that your MacBook is not shaking, a single elastic band is connected above.
After a few days after watching my MacBook with a dash sleeve, I just had a big quibble with the case. To some, of course, a bad side, I decided to get stuck in the waterfield stark, empty-bone color options-all-black or a copper trim co-markets refresh some more case options. Also noteworthy, the case, the retina device barely earns any thickness during the housing, even in a secure environment, even in a 12 -inch macbook, the shortage of MacBook.
The fake buggy behind the back will add weight, though especially once you start adding materials like MacBook’s USB-C charging cable. If it plans a dash or buggy in another bag while traveling, it will make the good-impaired case a bit less paused. However, otherwise, the outer nylon shell of the dash gives the waterfield as defensive and assured and even it seems that it can easily spread any kind of moisture or accidental spread. The material also satisfies the grip and does not easily leave your hand while walking during the extended period with the case.
Removing away from aesthetics, a major obstacle to the dash can be a single elastic band that determines whether your MacBook is secure. The band is easy to move backwards, that is, when you have to go to your MacBook quickly, it won’t be a hassle at the moments. But this is also a decline, because I’m not sure I will feel completely positive about keeping the dash into another bag – which the band is open most with this national sleeve for fear of being open and exposed to other contents of the computer.
Even bigger, perhaps anxiety is the other content enters the dashes, since the top opening of the case has no specific closure arrangements, your MacBook was always open on one side. Waterfield angles that are positive, in which you can charge your computer while resting in the case, but perfect security users cannot find what is looking for here. The opening can also prevent drop protection, the elastic strap does not keep the MacBook in the opposite direction for time, but does not keep the protective barrier to internal foam.
Dash MacBook sells for $ 59 on the official website of Waterfield on Sleeve Black and Copper and is also available for 13 inches and 15 inch MacBook options. Although its full body protection for your MacBook hit the case’s overall security sales point, I would say that the dash of ordinary daily use will be more than enough armor in the world and the world.
In $ 59, the dash is somewhat on the average MacBook Sleeve Price Point, but the initial accepters of the Retina MacBook are not submerged by the elephant options at the beginning of the product life cycle. Nevertheless, even if they are, the handsome craftsmanship of the waterfield, the no-frill case can easily be one of the top candidates.
