Review: Xiaomi Watch S3 is a simple smart watch with a great frame

Bored of your smart watch that always looks the same? Xiaomi is also – that is why Watch S3 has one unique selling point. It contains a semester frame, allowing you to redesign your watch while flying to suit new tapes, colored statues with your clothes, or simply inject a variety.

See beyond the frame, and you will find a capable view, if it is essential, as it sits in that gray area between the fitness follower and a smart watch. It is not as smart like Over OS, but a comprehensive collection of health and fitness features makes it a great track at a reasonable price. I have been using Watch S3 now two months ago, making this a long -term review of what I would have done at the beginning. But it is a certificate on the S3 watch that I have been happy with my wrist throughout this time.

Price, availability and specifications

Xiaomi still does not formally issue its devices in the United States, but many wearable devices, including Watch S3, appear on Amazon anyway.

The screen is somewhat bright and its colors are perforated, although it can be a conflict in direct sunlight. It is a 5atm waterproof, so it is suitable for both swimming and bathing, and Xiaomi Hyperos is clear and direct for use as well.

Also solid tracking. There is all the usual fitness tracking, with about 150 supported exercises. Complete the heart rate, SPO2, sleep tracking, and like most tracking devices, your data is intensified in sleep and vitality. I found the data accurate and reliable, and closely identical to the wearable devices that you tested in the same period.

Exercise data even includes instructions about the period that it should take to recover before it reaches the gym again, although I found it encourages longer rest instead of necessarily. On the side of the phone, you can access all these data through the Mi Litness application. I will not claim that this is my favorite fitness application, but it accomplishes the task, and the data is readable and easy to access.

Battery life is great. Xiaomi says it should last about two weeks between the drawings, although this is always decreased if you always enable the screen. This has been turned on, and I charge the hour once every 7-10 days.

What is bad in Xiaomi Watch S3?

It is not the smartest hour in the market

The main downside is that you should know what you get: in some respects, this is closer to the fitness tracker than a smart watch, so learn about its borders. Although it supports notifications and comes with some installed basic applications – alarm, calendar, audio recorder, and the like – this is not a smart watch. You can’t install more applications, and Alexa’s support revolves around the smartest thing here.

You will not be able to respond to messages through notifications, and while you can make calls, the quality is essential. There is no map application, so mobility is not an option, but the editing and narration of GPS and the playback of music means that it is friendly enough for hostility otherwise.

NFC payments are supported, but they are limited to MasterCard, and the availability of the region varies. I do not expect this to work in the United States.

Should you buy it?

If you want a meaningless smart watch that holds the physical fitness side and has a fantastic framework and exchange, there is no good reason for not looking at the S3, as long as you are happy with a set of edges that you can buy wherever you live.

If the edges are not attractive, there is no urgent reason to choose the S3 watch on the alternatives.
