You have a reliable smart door bell to monitor pirate pirates and unwanted visitors. There may be an outdoor safety camera to see a corridor or annihilation as well. But what about your car, as things are likely to be mistaken – if not more -? That is why there are heat cameras, and as soon as you have a height camera, you will never want to return. There is relief to see if there is an accident, you will have video coverage.

4K Dash cameras are strong at everyone, with many options that will manage you only a few hundred dollars – such as the new MIOFIVE, S1 Ultra. There is a lot you like about the S1 Ultra, and its capabilities expand through the Companion application. She has some disadvantages, though, so not everyone will suit.

Miofive S1 ULTRA is a medium -paid -priced camera, with MSRP about $ 200 for the front and rear camera pair. Instead, the front camera costs an independent list of $ 80. The rear camera cannot be purchased on its own. Unfortunately, buying the S1 Ultra options is somewhat limited. It is available directly through Miofive or Amazon.

What is good in Miofive S1 Ultra?

The setting is easy enough, and the front 4K is excellent even in 30 frames per second

For experienced Dash Cam users, the S1 ULTRA installation is a familiar process. It begins to choose an area on the windshield that will not hinder your vision and then prepare for the glass for adhesive installation. After wiping and drying the windshield, the anti -leaf should be placed in place, followed by a 3M sticky pillow, and finally the camera. The first time will find the main front camera wires are simple enough, with the possibility of a greater challenge when placing a cable from the front camera to the back.

Although there is nothing specifically flawed about the rear S1 Ultra rear designation design, the two cameras require a wireless connection to communicate. How easy the cable directives depends on the length inside your car on your car making and style. I installed Miofive in Mazda CX-3020 2020, and the cable position was easy enough, but I finished with a large package of backup wires that swing when I opened the hole and was only annoying and on the way.

Miofive S1 Ultra reinforce the Sony 8 -megapixel Sony for the Monthical Day, and a wide F/1.8 aperture for the sensitivity of high light in the dark, leading to a better night vision. In most cases, in cameras like these, I find that the outstanding points in the night vision exploded, but this was not all this big issue with the S1 Ultra. It is understood that more live and less detailed night shots-the least-air light and all of them-but low-light capacities in the S1 ULTRA were still relatively good.

The daytime colors will be recorded as completely real in life if it is not barely saturated, improved and a slight deviation in the warm side. But for the purpose of this camera (accidents recording and reading faces or licensing boards clearly), it is not an issue.

Nothing about building the S1 Ultra or the user interface stands out – not in a good way or in a bad way. The cameras themselves seem to be made well enough, with plastic housing and 3 meters. The front camera derives the energy from the car charger/car charger 12V, and the rear camera pulls its energy from the front camera.

The buttons on the plane are easy enough to move. You can change the accuracy, update the speaking volume, and implement other basic tasks directly on the camera. Miofive provides a free facilities application, which connects to the camera via Wi-Fi and provides extensive control over the camera. The app is not required to use the camera, but it makes file management much easier, as you can determine the registrations of remote as important or delete.

What is bad in Miofive S1 Ultra?

Tire rate rates, even at 1080 pixels or 2 kg, will be nice

It is possible that the biggest defect in the S1 Ultra is that it does not pick up the video at a frame rate above 30 frames per second, even if you store the resolution to 2K or 1080 pixels. For a driver, most of the mobility within the city border, where cars may not go more than about 45 miles per hour, usually 30 frames per second are sufficient. However, there may be cases where the FPS rate is higher.

There are some disappointing things from the S1 Ultra. For anyone, I hope that Miofive has included an optional suction installation to make the motor camera move between cars or changing locations on the windshield is easier. This will be useful for multi -car families or people who are frequently driving rents.

As with Rove R2-4K Pro, Cam Dash Repehede recently by Android Police, the IPS 3 inch is not a touch screen, but the absence of Miofive was not especially pain Wrong and wrong aircraft.

Review: The Rove R2-4K Pro Dash Cam reaches a sweet spot between specifications and price

Wonderful specifications with reasonable concessions

Some Dash Cam features are also missing with the S1 Ultra. For example, there is no registration in the cabin, and parking monitoring requires a set of solid wires (additional purchase) for work. Also, I don’t expect it to S1 Ultra, but there are some Dash cameras that come with an optional LTE connection, so you can check your car feeding anytime and anywhere. The Miofive Companion app only allows short -term communication.

Should you buy it?

4K may be a double exaggeration for your needs

Miofive S1 Ultra Dash Cam installed on the windshield, close to Mountain

Miofive S1 Ultra is a capable lush camera and affordable prices that serve you well, regardless of driving conditions. Despite a few missing devices features and there are no distinct features, the S1 Ultra has a lot to offer. The compact components of intelligence provides an additional layer of awareness of protection and support for the driver, and with a Wi-Fi connection, the management of the recordings directly from your phone makes large 4K files less than trouble.

However, male intelligence “privileges” will feel the doing and miserable of some, especially if your car already provides safety features such as tired drivers alerts – as with MIZDA 2020 experienced by Miofive.

All in all, without the background of 4K background, S1 ULTRA may be 4K camera 4K, but there are a few excellent 4K motif cameras there, so Miofive does not necessarily provide a blatant contrast with its competitors. It picks up the same level of details in the back that makes a difference.

Miofive S1 Ultra is a prominent shush camera for its 4K dual recording, but the front camera is a process worthy of attention, even if the rear camera leaves. If the S1 ULTRA has a cabin sucking and registration, then this will be the total package.
