Practical training: Moto Z2 Force and 360 Camera Moto Mod

Motorola is now in the second generation of Mod phones with Moto Z2 Play a few weeks ago and now Moto Z2 power. As far as we knew, there will be no regular Z2 variable this year, so it seems that Moto has divided the difference between the power of Z and Z. Z2 power is slightly lower than its predecessor with a smaller battery, but still has a shattered screen.

We will have a full review later, but let’s see if this phone consists of a good initial impression. There is also the launch of Mod 360 New Camera Mod on the same day. There is little to say about it, but we will throw it well.

Moto Z2 Force

If you have seen any Motorola phone last year and change it, Moto Z2 will look familiar. It is a skinny device about 6 mm with a completely flat rear panel. It is aluminum, but the end is a mirror. Thus, it is slippery and fingerprint to almost a glass -like degree. At the bottom is the Moto Mod conductor, but you can cover up the back with a pattern cover, and you may have it. These Ministry of Defense pins are eyes.

At the top of the back panel is the prominent camera unit, which settles the attached magnetic modifications. I will get to the camera later, but now I will only say that I still admire the camera unit. You really have to attach some kind of style cover to make it less enormous. Despite some rumors on the contrary, there is no headphone socket on this device. So you are just looking for the Type-C port at the bottom. There is still a Type-C adapter for the headphone adapter in the square at least.

On my first few watch with the Moto Z2 power, it is like in the hands of the previous Motorola Z phones. The edges look slightly on the big side of the $ 800 phone, but they are light. The flat back is not at least comfortable. Again, you need to cover this thing. More importantly, this phone is not waterproof. This has become increasingly unacceptable for the $ 800 phone.

The polite screen is similar to a 5.5 -inch 1440 -pixels last year. I have no complaints about the corners of viewing or colors at first glance. However, it is a little strange feeling. Motorola’s Shattshield technology depends on layers of anti -effect on the screen instead of the glass. I hit my office angle with the Z2 power several times, and I can confirm it is not broken. The edges of the plastic cover are sharp, not soft like a glass plate. This makes the scrolling gestures on the fingerprint sensor unpleasant. The plastic layer is also significantly praised when pressing the screen, and it makes the “curly” noise in certain places – such as it is not completely related to the width. This is not encouraging.

Motorola turns on the double camera train with a pair of 12 -megapixel sensors on the back of the phone. A very clear feature here is that the round camera unit looks like a smiling face now. The most obvious benefits, according to Motorola, are selective focus and black and white capture.

I only took some pictures with the device, so these are just preliminary ideas. However, I don’t think this phone will challenge pixels or Galaxy S8 when it comes to image quality. Motorola seems to be still using heavy treatment, and the images look darker than I expected. The specifications are listed only by the F/2.0 hole, which is smaller than most other phones in this price range.

When taking pictures using a depth sensor camera, you can get a peach effect tries to repeat a narrow depth from the field lens. However, this depends on discovering what is correctly present. It does not seem better than other phones that you used with this feature – a Blur filter looks clearly fake. Picking times are also much longer when using depth mode. Pictures in white and black look really nice.

The program depends on Android 7.1 with custom Motorola feature features like Moto Display and Moto Voice. Due to the presence of pregnant versions of this phone, you can expect some huge programs. The Verizon phone has a lot of it. However, the pixel -style home screen is made and there is a Google feeding board on the left. This is the feeling like Moto Z2 Play Déjà Vu so far.

The Moto show is still a great feature, not the animal -drawn vehicles like the Z2 play. A pioneering phone, this device has a full range of Moto procedures such as Twist for the camera and the lamp cutting. The sound of Moto Motto (and much less useful) is also on the plane. When it comes to new features, well, there is nothing. I was hoping that Motorola could innovate in programs, but this seems increasingly unlikely.

The Moto Z2 power seems fast yet, so there are no complaints there. I face some WiFi stability problems, but I will need more time to get it out.

Motorola managed to obtain this phone on every transportation company, so it could be a big boost for the company if it was a success. I will be interested in knowing how the small battery works somewhat, and the camera looks doubtful. We will have a full review soon, so keep the final ruling.

360 Camera Ministry of Defense

This is the latest modification that settles on Moto Z phones, and it will cost you 300 dollars when it is launched alongside the Moto Z2 power. The Ministry of Defense is a little thicker than the style cover, and it contains a double lens camera at the top like a small lighthouse. You only need to capture it on the phone, and the camera application is launched at 360 degrees. You have a view from both sensors to line up a snapshot, and there are many different facades available.

Take a picture of about two seconds. A 6240 x 3120 image is immediately available in your exhibition application, which supports 360 -degree venture width mode. I took only a few (one of which you can see below), and it seems fine. There is a little noise and distortion on the edges, but this is what you expect from a camera like this. Things are well lined up in the viewer at an angle of 360 degrees.

What is really related is the price. How many times will you take 3 360 degrees? Is this worth $ 300? Most people may have to say “no.”
