Jlab Epic2 Pluetooth Review: Breaking and long -term

I was on something of a good set of Bluetooth earphones recently. While my small collection of headphones has served me well in the gym and airport, and in public transport, Bluetooth headphones provide a main advantage in the lack of a large interlocking cable. It is also more practical, as it seems that more smartphones abandon the 3.5 mm headphone socket (a step that I will continue to say are stupid and bad).

JLAB EPIC2 may not come from a brand you know, but these earphones have received their fair share of decisive praise in an area that has become increasingly crowded and competitive. I recently spent a week with Epic2S as a major exercise and a office hearing, and these are my thoughts.

Suitable and design

Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment with Epic2s for me personally (Acknowledged that many people had no problems here) was appropriate. Normal and simple, I could not find a comfortable mix of ear domains. Jlab includes approximately ten ear collections per square with EPIC2S, including some double and triple patterns, but none of them approached a fixed seal. The traditional “bubble” tips can get a seal with some works, but it was impossible to maintain it, and I must use a large size that my ear will be very painful after an hour of constant erosion. I can make it work, but at the end of my exercise, I was ready to take them up.

I tried every advice listed with EPIC2S. Nothing made a good attack.

I think Jlab can do a good job by customers to include some foam tips similar to their headphones. I find that foam advice provides a “fist” much better in the ear canal, which is much more comfortable in general. They remain sealed, too. In fact, compliance is practiced to sell completely compatible advice with EPIC2S, and I have a feeling that I would like to do so much more if I pick up a group. At $ 14.99 for two sets of advice, I wasn’t about to wander just for experimentation. However, I think this simple modification can make Epic2s completely good for me, since I had a great experience with foam tips on Jaybird X3s.

The excessive episode style on the ear was not a problem for me, although I think the reinforced jlab cables are a little harsh, and I feel that I should set the shape of the rings every time I put them in. This is not huge The deal – the Epic2s feels “very balanced” on my ears as a result – but it can become annoying when you just want to put damn objects and go.

Otherwise, the Epic2s appears to be well designed. Do not weigh heavily on your ears, do not hang embarrassing control when you are active, and the earphones themselves remain in their position. To get a headphone headphone, this is great. If you are not interested in keeping your headphones in your position, though, you will use it primarily in a fixed capacity), it may not be Epic2s for you-excessive design is definitely not loved by some people, and Jlab will not have anything to convert the bond.

Battery, shipping and durability

Jlab quotes up to 12 hours of operation with EPIC2S, which is impressive for something with this type of packaging. I generally found that the estimate is on a point with moderate sizes, and the longevity did not decrease significantly when I rotated things. I would like to say I got about 9 or 10 hours of operation during my exercises, but that was near the maximum output (I know, I know – not good for my ears).

MicroUSB shipping is comfortable, but the port flap is part of the pain to deal with it – some may sacrifice the water insulation and cut if it is turned off.

Shipping is accomplished via MicroUSB, and while I can estimate the comfort that this offers, the shipping port design feels a little bit. It is a rubber flavor on the console you raise to reach the port, and when detection, Epic2S is no longer fully resistant to water. If you enter the fluids in this port, you will need to operate headphones and allow them to dry completely, or to destroy them. Jlab says as long as this outlet is closed, you should not have any problems with fluids (not classified as immersion, to be clear), although customer reviews claim because of sweat in the ear boxes that no one heard of.

Epic2s voice good For headphones, Bluetooth. I will be honest: I was a little bit of sound quality in some respects. Al -Jahir is a type of muddy, and found that the middle and the heights were not particularly clear. It comes to what I was expecting from a Bluetooth ear set of $ 100, and it seems that many satisfied customers do not face any problem with EPIC2S in this regard.

I was given, if you are shopping for an exercise headphone, the sound quality may not be a set of considerations and features as much as “Do you get loud enough to flood everything else around me.” With regard to loudly, I found that EPIC2S is sufficient, but given that I have never been able to manage a fixed seal with them, may not match my experience (you may find it more than loud enough).

In terms of the total sound quality, the aforementioned jamming was something that I have noticed constantly, even when I will force the headphones to close my ears explicitly for the purpose of evaluating the sound. Epic2s supports Bluetooth AptX, which means that they have a leg in theory to some competitors in space, but I do not think that the quality and control of drivers means that you will really see that this feature is paid. conclusion

It is easy to see how EPIC2S can be a kind of love or hatred according to your expectations or a special experience with it. If I don’t have any problems with suitability, I have come out with a much more positive impression on these headphones, and I am ready to admit that this is something that can be treated by throwing some money in a nice set of foam ear. This leads to raising the cost of EPIC2S to $ 115 if you go to my specified way, and this puts it in prices to the Jaybird X3S that I also experience at the present time.

I realize that many people find that the Epic2s seizure is their strongest point, so I will leave it according to personal taste. I also think that the longer battery life is far from a small consideration, and many are likely to estimate the charging of MicroSB that it seems that more and more products in the wireless ear sector are invented for royal lips or dongals.

Although the sound quality certainly did not give me, it was not what I call anything near the poor, and I am difficult to satisfy it in general about these things. The cheapest Bluetooth earphones tend to have medium audio properties at best, which are generally suitable for bombing of podcasts or non -noisy exercise songs. Epic2s is good enough in this regard that I was agreeing to use it as walking at the airport and sometimes desk. I cannot generally say that cheap earphones these days – I’m a little spoiled by my business.

If you are on the market for something approaching the “premium” set of bluetooth ear headphones, then I think EPIC2s deserves to search for battery life, a unified shipping interface, and a good good sound. I will take some ideas on how to accumulate some competitors in the coming weeks. Buy here.
