conclusion
In my search for a set of Bluetooth earphones, I didn’t expect Bose to come out in the foreground. After I tried X3S and Jaybird freedoms, as well as Jlab Epic2S, the Bose show seemed exaggerated and unattractive, and the longevity width compared to most competitors. But after more than a week of using Soundsport Wireless, they easily became my earphones, despite the intermediate battery life and the high mark.
Excellent comfort, masked sound and a wonderful application experience compensating for the above -mentioned shortcomings, then some. Boss is a brown here.

voice |
True to the name Bose, the earphones take this sound seriously. It is a little heavy (from an amazing unlimited design), but these are the best Bluetooth earphones that she experienced with a long shot. |
comfort |
Easily more Bluetooth buds the comfort you used. The design of the engine does not put any pressure on your ear canal, and I found that “wings” barely put pressure on my ears at all. They are a super light too. |
Facilities app |
Bose Connect Companion is shockingly traumatized – useful. It allows you to update the fixed -fetal programs, control solution, vision of the battery level, management of associated devices, automatic temporary control, and even share your music to other Bose headphones. |
Not very good
Battery life |
Bose evaluates Soundport Wireless for 6 hours than operating time, but I found it closer to 4 or 5 at the typical size – “Meh”. |
price |
This is a cost of $ 149. They do not go for sale often. |
Ownership tips |
Soundsport’s ear advice design is unique to Bose, and this means that if you lose your advice or rupture, you likely want to buy alternatives from Bose – it is for a couple. Yixes. |
Design and comfort
Soundsport Wireless may not look like light and comfortable headphones. The muscles of the huge drivers are hardly attractive, especially in this “water” color, and it will forgive you to think that they are sitting on your ears like a pair of boats. The thing is that they do not do it. Soundsport is incredibly comfortable, more comfortable than Jaybird X3s that I was also experiencing. They put almost zero on your ear canal (because they are unlucky) and the “wings” that they hold in place barely noticeable for me.
If you are not used to what I mean not to close, the Bose Soundport does not create a seal with your ear canal. As such, you will be able to hear a lot of surrounding noise when wearing it. This is an advantage if you are planning to walk (or run, or a bike) with them outside, but many people do not like the unbearable ear headphones for the gym for this exact reason.
Another disadvantage of an unspecified design, usually, is the response of the lower flower. Fortunately, this is not a problem at all with SoundSport, but you will not find the level of isolation provided by Jaybirds and foam tips similar to it here, if this is something you need in the earphone.
So, yes, Soundsport looks great and problem, but as soon as you are on your ears, you will not notice it. Sometimes the cable is pulled, and I have to set it from time to time when exercising, but what I call it was to break a deal. I have seen some reviews indicating that the cable position is unbearable, but I did not find that this is the case, and it was useful to bear it easily given that the headphones are unusually comfortable.
The single design that I have is the embedded control items. The buttons require very great pressure to run and feel incredibly consumed. I rarely use it, so I can’t say this had a material impact on my experience.

My favorite in Soundsport is sound. It really looks great, not just “Bluetooth headphones”. This is definitely among the favorite headphones in the ear that I have tried and have no price of up to hundreds of dollars. Certainly, there are hearing approved indoor screens that may likely cost them or even much less Soundsport while looked significantly better, but they are not wireless, and therefore do not make the point of really good comparison.
The sound of the sound on Soundsport is vibrant – Bose does not allow you to meet headphones or make any prosecution in the sound mode, curiously, but they say that Soundport will use “EQ Active” to perfectly adjust the sound for anything. Soundsport offers an amazing amount of brightness (it is likely to be due to these huge drivers), the average range is very clear, and the highest good levels are reasonably good. The details were well preserved and found that although it is not always very loyal to the character of some records, Soundsport was never unpleasant. I enjoy listening to music with these headphones, which is something I could not really say about Jaybird X3s, or, especially Jlab Epic2S.
They also get loud, if you are interested in that.
Battery life and wireless performance
This is not great. Bose evaluates Soundport Wireless for 6 hours of operation, but I found 4 or 5 hours in general what I managed to manage, depending on the high level of the sound. This is not great, but I think the silver lining here is its low weight and its resulting comfort. However, it is a specific sign against them compared to competition, as the famous Epic2s of Jlab offers an estimated 12 hours – twice the time of play.
Shipping is carried out via MicroUSB, which is a specific victory against the Cradles Cradles Jaybird that he uses these days. If you want a cradle, Bose sells one with a built -in battery for charging while moving … for.
It was very easy to get the Soundsport (the accompanying application will do so automatically), and you can even pair it via NFC if you are very tilted. Just click on your phone against the guaranteed console after running and it will be set to go. Bluetooth’s performance was excellent even with the famous Pixel XL, and Soundsport returns to the phone very quickly every time you operated it. I had no cutters or interruptions at all.
program
The Bose Connect app tights the deal for me with these headphones – it is definitely worth downloading. Here is a summary of what you can do in the app.
-
The level of control level
-
View the battery level
-
Your headphone title
-
Set the amount of time lettuce before they turn off
-
Enabling or disrupting sound claims for the battery level and the connection state
-
Update the fixed -to -header programs
-
Manage devices that are paired with headphones
-
Control of music playing
-
Share your voice with another pair of Bose headphones (using a connection from the device to the device-it’s very elegant)
The application itself is very clean and well designed, and it exceeds exceptionally well on pixels. This is the additional inclination that I expect (instead, we hope) a company like Bose goes to make sure that when you pay a distinguished price for the product, you get a distinguished experience. The app works much more than the Jaybird MySound app (even if there are no EQ things to play with it), and it legally adds benefit. I would like to see an option to set the low battery alarm (10 %) and sound definition files, but in fact, this is complete. Well done, Boss.
conclusion
Among the four groups of Bluetooth earphones that have tested so far, Bose Soundport Wireless is easily my favorite. While the lifetime of the dull battery, the doubtful beauty, the high price work against them, the amazing comfort, the excellent sound and the application of the wonderful comrade put the scale in their favor in my eyes (or rather in my ears).
There is no doubt that they are not for everyone-the design is not engine and the “wings” required at all will make them unequal for some. But even as someone who was skeptical of the uncomfortable convenience, I am turning. These headphones look great, and I can wear them longer because I don’t have anything to press my ear canal. Jaybird x3s, compared to real fatigue over time, even if they are generally comfortable.
I realize that I will not convince everyone of a husband of the wireless ear headphones worth $ 150. Perhaps you should wait for the sale – Soundsport Wireless has come out nearly a year ago, and I must wonder whether Bose is working on a revised version so far. But even if you are paying a full price for posters, I think it is unlikely to regret it. I can’t see myself easily affected by SoundSport after using it last week, and I will be very curious to see if Bose makes a new repetition later this year.
