Atari, undoubtedly, is one of the most famous companies in the video game industry. Pong was one of the first Arcade games ever, the ATARI computer was 2600 common in the late 1970s and early eighties, and Atari STR was somewhat successful. However, the company began to falter in the nineties, and Atari Jaguar was bad in the coffin. After that, Atari Corporation merged with JTS Corp, which later sold the Atari brand to Hasbro in 1998.
Atari has since joined the ranks of Polaroid and RCA as a brand name that was passed around different companies, as Atari Inc. ended. The original and Atari company has long been. Holding Company in France is now controlling the brand, as it was one of its subsidiaries (previously known as Infogrames Interactive).
Atari Interactive “Atari Speakerhat” released near the end of last year, and as the name suggests, it is a hat with amplifiers. Unfortunately, the amplifier surrenders to the same problems facing other wearable technological products – a limited benefit and a high price.

Design and controls
Perhaps not surprising, the headphones appear to be like a hat. I have the “Fuji Blackout” version (“Fuji” is a nickname for the company’s logo), which looks like a baseball cover. The company also sells the Blade Runner 2049 version with the blue Atari logo with a Japanese text in the foreground, and the Pong Anniversary version with the classic Pong logo.
In addition to these baseball caps, there is also “Snapbacks” (basically a flat -edge hats and a different belt mechanism). This comes in blue and white, with “Atari” that was clarified on the introduction and “computer systems” on its back.
From the left to the right: a Fuji ketchup hat, a blue/white Royal Qat, and a black/white hat
The CAP and Snapback contains an adjustable belt to make sure that your head fits properly. The interior is dressed with brands from Audiowear (the company that has developed these hats). There are two small units on each side on the side of the hat – one that contains ingredients and Bluetooth controls, and the other contains a battery. Typical units cause the hat to feel a little different from regular baseball caps, but not to the point being uncomfortable; It is almost similar to someone holding a few quarters on each side of the hat.
The speaker has one button on the left side, along with the LED index. The light will quickly close while in a pairing position, and it will be solid once the hat is paired. The pressure on the button will turn on and turn off the hat, and the pressure/appeal will stop. Speakerhat does not have the sound control items, or any way to overcome the tracks.
There is a small microphone located at the edge, so that you can already use the headphone as the Bluetooth head hearing. If you have an incoming call, then press the power button by answering the call, and pressing again will end it.
The Bluetooth unit inside the hat also contains two connectors – the MicroUSB shipping port, and a 2.5 mm headphone socket. If you want, you can connect the headphone guaranteed in the hat for a special listening, but the presence of a cable comes out of your hat feels strange. Talk about shipping, the Omar battery life is great. I have not endured it once since it was removed from the box.
Unfortunately, the headphones were a huge design defect – it’s not waterproof. You cannot wash it, and you cannot wear it in the rain. Atari says you can clean the surface with a damp cloth, but that’s all. If you feel sweat while wearing this hat, then the only possession of preventing it from the smell like a group of dirty socks, this is the spray in Febze.
Water resistance is always a problem with wearable technology, such as how to wash the Google Jacquard project only about three times, but you cannot wash this Ever Disappointing.

Atari says the headphone contains “high -precision” stretch amplifiers, but how does it really look? If you have to summarize it with one word, it will be “fine”. There is no big difference between the speakers of this hat and amplifiers on your smartphone, but the headphone can be much higher.
There is no bass, and everything looks a little tin. It is okay for podcasts, YouTube videos, the other content with Talking mostly, but playing actual music on Speakerhat is not great. On the positive side, you often face loudspeakers in your direction, so you can hear everything you play clearly. The manual and technology specifications do not mention APTX support, but the time of sound transmission seemed very low in the test.
Another problem becomes clear when using the hat in public places. Since these amplifiers, not headphones or headphones, everyone around you can hear what you play. This was my biggest grip with the hat, because this means that I could not play anything unless I was alone or wanted to disturb everyone around me. When I am alone, it is usually in a place that I already have a better sound (practical, car, etc.), which makes the headphone meaningless.
If you want to watch a video or listen to music with people around you, the headphone is good for that. But if you want to listen to something without everyone getting upset in your direct confusion, this is not a good option.

Atari amplifiers
Atari Speakerhat is a strange product. It is part of the technology that can be worn, carrying a brand and marketing it by a company that has not been relevant (with the exception of perhaps as a gaming publisher) over the past two decades. In some situations, such as when I was cleaning around the house or walking my dog, I enjoyed using it. The battery life is excellent, the time of low Bluetooth transition, and I haven’t tested any connection problems.
It is not necessarily a bad product, but it is not practical in most situations. You cannot use it in public places without disturbing the people around you, unless you connect the headphones. You cannot use it while exercising, because it will become dirty and sweat, and it cannot be washed. The job is similar to the LG Tone studio that we have previously reviewed, with the exception of those that had easily accessible earphones that you can always switch to your own listening.
If you really want to buy one, you can do it from Atari Life. But for the current price of $ 99, the headphone is not a particularly great hat, and it is a modest speaker. The old Atari Jaguar ads also said, “Mathematics.”
