When it comes to the Magsph Power Bank Marketplace, it is basically a sea of equality. This is not the one. Coxure S2 has separated with its semi-powerful state battery technology, which promises increased protection and longevity at steeper prices than conventional alternatives.
Design and features
A soft, compact Q2 units with a premium construction of a premium, which contains four main components: a magnetic wireless charging zone on the top, a power button on the side, a USB-C input/output port (included in the bride USB-C only) and the LED indicator lights which show the battery. The aluminum allo frame has been associated with the matte corning gorilla glass panels, and the pack seems to be a disappointment – though it is not weak for cosmetic scratches reviewed as a few weeks review.
Only measures 143g (5.04oz) and 106 × 69.5 × 10 mm (4.17 × 2.74 × 0.39in), it is impressively transmitted and light than the iPhone 16. When it was said, the battery extends slightly to the phone when my iPhone 16 is connected to the phone, when no issue is created when an issue is not created. The cameras are at least uninterrupted.
S2 has a simple LED index system, shows four light battery levels: 4 LEDs (> 75%), 3 LED (> 50%), 2 LED (> 25%), and 1 LED (> 10%). When the battery drops below 10%, a single LED flash. There is also a special LED pattern – the four lights are shaking like running light – which indicates that the small current mode is active (more below).
Stiff state
In order to exit the Traditional Lithium-ion-ion options, the title feature of S2 is its semi-power state battery technology. This design eliminates the risk of leakage, explosion and combustion. Coxu claims that the battery can escape the nail intrusion test without fire or explode – and based on the company’s own dramatic demonstration videos, it continues to work even after this extreme loss.
Despite some confusion in labeling (which reads “Li Polymer Battery”), CoxiU confirmed that S2 actually uses semi-state technology. The interior of the interior can be made from different materials, including polymers – both claims technically correct.
Performance and effectiveness
5,000 mAh power supports both the wired charging up to 20W via 15W wireless charging for the iPhone 12 via the Power Bank IPhone 16 series. USB-C input spaces show that it takes 5v⎓3a/9v⎓2.2A to charge yourself.
The manual suggests the first use method: the power bank is fully discharged until it is fully charged at 100%completely, with a quick charger for the best speed, PD for the best speed.
There are three main charging modes: wireless charging (including Magsaf activation), wired charging for other smartphones and a dedicated small current charging mode. This special mode has been activated by double-click and is designed for lower-power devices such as earbods and smartwatches, especially that can not draw enough energy to stop the bank auto-shutting. I had no problem charging the Airpodes Pro via MagSefe and Apple Watch via the charging port.
In my exam with the iPhone 16 Pro, the full -charged S2 came up to 97% before my entirely extracted phone was reduced – somewhat lower than the Cox’s claim of “about 1.2 full charge”. 16N52 magnets provide an assured powerful connection that retains its grip even after falling back into a loose pocket or bag. If your iPhone has a non-magseph case, the bank is going to fall back in the end.
A particularly impressive side is thermal management. Some slim power banks can become worryingly heated during discharge (especially at low charge levels), but the S2 remains noticeably cool in my experience.
Longevity and value
Here the semi-salid state technology really shines. Although the $ 79.99 price tag of S2 is about 60% higher than comparatively liquid-based power banks such as anchor or ecofo, longevity facilities are sufficient. Coxu claims that S2 will maintain 80% of its original capacity after a 1,000 charging cycle compared to just 300-500 cycles for the S2 traditional power banks. This is a potential twice or triple useful lifetime.
Skill is equally impressive. A complete discharge provides the power output of 18-19W power, which is great after accounting for conversion damage. Long -term looking for long -term, enhanced cycles, this skill makes the price of the premium more transparent.
Up
Coxiw S2 Power Bank seems to be the same as the true move in technology. Initially. 79.99 sting at the price tag, but when you consider the possibility of double or triggery in additional alternative alternatives, as well as premium materials, the value proposal becomes clearer. For those who often rely on carryable energy, dividends should be paid over the investment period.
What is missing? A kickstand will look good. Some users may also miss the iOS widget integration that was available in the previous S1 model, Cox’s. Due to the requirement of QI2 certificate, S2 Apple does not provide satisfactory iOS integration to provide battery packs in Apple’s own Magsaf – no special animation or battery widget on the lock screen. Don’t make me mistake, it works innocently. It just doesn’t seem like “apple” that nobody can like. However, they seem to be a true innovative product, in contrast to minor quibbles. If a few dollars safety and longevity are more important to you than a few dollars in front, Coxiu S2 demands consideration.
