You can forgive you that Google was new to wireless charging if you had not followed their products obsessed for years. NEXUS 4, 5 and 6 wireless charging capabilities have had its own wireless charging platform in 2013. After ignoring wireless charging for several years, the feature returned to Pixel 3 and 3 XL. Google also sells a wireless charger again: the pixel position has not changed. It has not changed much in the past five years. The official wireless charger from Google costs more than competition, and has an unusual design. However, the pixel holder includes some really great technology, and is tightly integrated with Pixel 3. May not do that. Need Those features, though. It is difficult to justify 79 dollars for the exile when you can get a pillow compatible with the Qi, which also receives your phone for $ 20.

Design, devices, what is in the box
The pixel bearer is the ultimate dismantling at the minimum of the charging position. There is a flat circular base, an oval shape to support the phone, and a small lip to hold the phone in place. That’s it. The pixel holder looks like someone started drawing a chair in Microsoft Paint, performing a bad work, and surrendered.
The Google Wireless charger comes in white only, which looks like a lost chance. Google can offer versions that match all pixels colors. The underside has an unexpected splash of color – it’s a type of coral, I think? Near the back, there is a opening section and a rest department where you connect a USB Type-C cable.
The devices are covered from top to bottom in the soft plastic, which prevents the phone from slipping too much when it is dropped. The lower lip that prevents pixels from slipping down has a shower edge, and it is a little strange. There is nothing that prevents the phone from slipping from one side, so you should avoid formulating a pregnant woman.
Pixel 3 fees are charged at 10W when on the platform, which the phone is “fast charging”. Although this is slower 8 watts than you will get with the cable, and 5 watts are slower than the Samsung wireless charger with its phones. A small, hidden LED index lights up on the front of the pixel position when you emerge to inform you that it is connected. The pregnant woman charges any phone with a compatible wireless technology (QI), but allocated Google features only work with pixels.
Pixel PiggyBacks stands a signal signal on wireless charging waves with a technology designed by Google. This means that your phone actually marries with a pixel holder automatically – there is no Bluetooth or NFC required. At the sidewalk, your phone always acts to listen to the assistant, and it can make suggestions (via a button on the screen) such as running news or reading your messages. In Dock Pixel Stand, you can rename your holder, configure it to activate the inconvenience, stop the screen at night, or show modern images automatically. It also integrates with Nest Helo Doorbell.
The box does not contain anything unexpected. You can get a pixel holder, a USB C-TO-C cable, and a plug. The device can ship 18W if connected directly on your phone, so I imagine that it is identical to the stock charger you got with the pixels.
Should you buy it?
Maybe not. I salute Google to add wireless charging to its phone again, but the pixel holder is very expensive to compete with all bargaining chargers that use the same Qi technology. Great Google features are great, and they improve the experience. However, it does not deserve the high demand price of $ 79.
I like to drop the pixel 3 on a pregnant woman can always run features such as listening mode and photo frame. The way Google defines your lazy position via a smart shipping signal. You can even get multiple pixels (for example, one at home and one at work) with different settings. It is easy to fit with a confusion office as well because it has a small fingerprint. You will mix with your setup because it is not noticeable. The pixel holder is not elegant or interesting – it’s only He is. The soft touch surface prevents the phone from slipping, but I feel safer if there is something to prevent it from slipping from one side-the reasonable lip does not look enough.
If you start buying many pixels for home and working, you will quickly add the cost. The price is very high when there are well -rated charging devices that can do 10W much less (like this and this). Even the luxurious Samsung Fast charger is about half expensive like a pixel parking. You can say that it comes with a fast pixel charger, and this is $ 35 himself. However, you will leave the connected pregnant all the time, and Google Wireless shipments also At an exaggerated price.
