It is strange to believe that there is an extremist attached market, but there. MPHIE dominates some special characteristics: a slightly more installment building quality, better materials, and advanced specifications. Of course, MPHIE products usually come at a large price in the sky, and this is the case here with PowerStation USB-C 3 XL. You get 45 watts of energy on both USB-C inputs (with different outlets and ports for each of them as well), a huge capacity of 26,000 mAh per hour, and $ 200 to go with it. Unfortunately, I refused to work with any Chrombook I tested with him.

Design, devices, what is in the box
The largest MOPHIE’s Powerstation USB-C 3XL is the same shape and the larger MPHIE PowerStation design, which we also reviewed. In this case, it is a little smaller in all dimensions, and without the AC port, all ports can be placed on the same upper edge. There is also a zero charging index near one edge that is activated by a adjacent button.
Like AC Powerstation, it wanders in Taco artificial tissue. It is very smooth for touch, like the micro -fibers covered with standing. Most people will really enjoy it, but I find that this type of fabric feels fat and sticky (I don’t like alcantara also if this is any indicator).
You can get three outlets: UsB Type-C, One Output USB Type-C, and onCEPT Onport USB Type-A. This MPHIE is classified at 45W, 45W and 12W, respectively, and our test later confirmed these numbers in general, with one exception (more later). Try not to confuse the USB-C ports for each other, because only one is able to provide output. If you connect something in the person intended for the entry and you don’t notice it, the laptop may dry up or your phone.
Powerstation USB-C 3xl comes with the battery itself, decent quality cables (3 ‘Type-C to Type-C and 3’ Type-C for type A), and a quick guarantee/guarantee card. The battery also comes with a two -year warranty.

General measurements of inputs and outputs.
We measured PowerStation USB-C 3xl in a typical way, even tested by a short difference that is controlled to the point of failure to determine both the absolute product, and if it recovered safely. This battery has cried on the USB Aunt A, at about 2.85A, and cut the LEDS and LEDS as a warning as soon as this threshold reached, but it was easily regained after only seconds. Unfortunately, I do not have a group collected to measure the same pieces on USB Type-C yet.
Strangely, although I managed to get 12W up to take out USB Type-A with my download test, none of my devices could not negotiate this evaluation themselves.
Moreover, none of Chromebook books – including Pixelbook and ASUS C101 – have not been able to charge the battery as well. Since many of our readers are likely to think about highly direct batteries such as this specifically for this purpose, think about this warning.
On hair less than 80WH measured on USB-A, it seems that PowerStation USB-C 3xl is effective about 80 % during discharge-if we assume that its capacity of 26,000 mAh per hour flip it against the 100W FAA border using approximately 3.7 volt batteries. This is good within the expected range of efficiency in our tests, although we saw higher. Many different variables can be in play.
Should you buy one?
no. MPHIE makes some of the most beautiful energy accessories you can get, but you pay a huge bonus for that. You can spend less and get the same level of production elsewhere, and even trading plastic for aluminum if you do. However, there are sacrifices: the simultaneous USB-C is losing the imposition of USB-C fees. Most other batteries will not have the same composition of the port that you get with Powerstation USB-C 3xl.
However, you can easily get similar specifications for less, and for most of our readers, the Chromebook is likely to be incompatible with an unavailability. 45W directed on USB Type-C, associated with attractive design and high-quality materials, It seems To make it a perfect companion for the Busory Book of Google, but it doesn’t work.
If you are using a MacBook, mphie Powerstation USB-C 3xl and 45W of production may be well, if expensive, but most people will be offered using something else.
