Review: Newtake’s Nupower USB-C Power Adapter Charge MacBook and iPhone

by red

Cable and adapters equipped with USB-C are becoming increasingly popular because smartphones and computers have similarly taken standard, including 12-inch Retina MacBook with Apple, including 12-inch Retina MacBook, with its 12-inch Retina MacBook. Accessories like USB drives that include the file transfer simple and larger dock that deals with users’ decisions MAC-C: MAC.

The NuPower 60W USB-C Power Adapter in NeurTek is less clever than new feature-intensive products, but it is basically a positive. The power adapter replaces Apple’s bundled 29 W.SB-C adapter to charge the MacBook, as well as an iPhone or an adapter, with a 12W USB-powered Bonus to charge a Traditional USB-driven device at the same time.

As an Apple’s Power Adapter Replacement, the neurotech accessories have little edges in the second device to pay simultaneous charges, making it a potential compulsory alternative for retina MacBook owners. Visual chaos with dense cable, but for some people the price may not be worth $ 59.99.

Design

The Nupower adapter comes into three pieces: USB-C, USB-A, and power ports, as well as a power cable and a USB-C cable. The original device is 4.2 inches long, 2 inches wide and about 0.8 inches thick, so it is not so complex in any charging method, though apple is clearly higher than the bundle-in cable of Apple. The body component of the power adapter has a soft-to-tuch matte finish that fingerprint smuds should not be retained and it has a beautiful weight (4.8 ounces according to neurteen).

Although I haven’t put it under a very rigorous test, it seems that it may survive the backpack, bag or charging cord’s jerks and injuries is usually thrown without worry. An Undertted NeurTek is at the top of the logo adapter and it is the only one marked at the top of the device, while the company has made the USB type-A and USB type-C ports with the text, including the company. The bottom part of the adapter is a bit of a text dump, with all alerts, alerts and specifications written in a bright white text, with soft silicone bumper that helps stay in every place during the hard surface.

Towards the cable of things, Nupower’s power cable is about 8 inches short in Apple’s 6.5-foot USB-C charge cable, providing a lot of concession houses to plug up your MacBook. The 18.5-inch USB-C cable has added a further length, adding a charging solution to 4.2 inches adapter itself, about 8 feet long.

The power cable is one of the more disappointing parts of the Nuppower adapter, its dense, cord-covered material from the initial packaging that it was not VIS visually and effectively, it is only a significantly non-appl design, and it can cost Retina McBook in the first place. In this case the 18.5-inch USB-C Cable is better, but it is much thicker than Apple’s white USB-C cable.

To charge a MacBook and iPhone

Newtake claims that “Its adapter can make your USB devices up to 2x up to 2x than comparative charger,” only on computers that NuPower adapter can take high-powered charging speed (including voltage up to 20 V). Retina MacBook is not one of those devices, so monitoring the advantage of the adapter of the neurotake should not be the cause of any fast charging for anyone.

During my exam, Nupower adapter extends my MacBook from 88 percent to 99 percent in 88 minutes and my iPhone has turned from 20 percent to 97 percent in just 100 minutes. From the macbook side of things, it originally produces the Nuppower adapter in line with the 29W USB-C first-party adapter charge time and other third-party options like Griffin Breaksaf USB-C Cable.

I only used the Nupower adapter in my home, but its bifurcated design can go against the use of it in travel situations, where simple options usually take precedent. Otherwise, the daily use of accessories is mostly objectionable, such as any decent only.

There is a big leg up nupwar on Apple’s adapter. Apple’s website ensures many reviews (included in me), its USB-C charge can only have its own mind. In my own experience, the worst of one of these is losing the wire and reinstating the energy to my MacBook, which subsequently guarantees the charge of the charge. It’s something that makes me awaken in the middle of the night, with no electricity trouble or fun wall adapter events.

Apple’s Charger (Left) and Newtake Charger (Right)

I just had Nupower adapter for a week, but I had no similar experience at that time. Even the middle brick is hanging from the Ottoman or the desk, the cables are plugged and remained in place. It is still advisable to keep power brick on a solid surface, but it is 18.5 inch USB-C cable and 4.2 inches long brick that will occupy the space at your desk or you will charge the MacBook any place. Adding a second device will only add visible wire chaos to a MacBook, so anyone who prefers to keep a clean desk can also find quality with the Nupower adapter.

Bottom line

Anyone who is happy in Apple’s charging system (or who is low-breaker and finds less than me like me), Nupower USB-C Power Adapter is a bit strong sale. The charging is the same, if the potential is more reliable and the addition of charging on USB-A charging smartphone or mobile battery pack, or even any other wall outlet can be negligible to anyone. In my personal experience, when I am charging my MacBook, I divert on my iPhone and vice versa, so I don’t really need to plan both at once.

But if you are disappointed with Apple’s own inconsistent USB-C charging cable and power adapter, the $ 59.99 option is a valid option to charge your Retina MacBook, especially if you see yourself charging the iPhone or iPad at the same time and limited wall outlets are available. The inter -associated cable system can become a bit accustomed to – and those who prefer Apple’s Clean White Cables will be disappointed with the heaviest and bend cords – but otherwise Newtac has created a device that is effective and reliable.

Professionals
– Any cut or disconnected while charging
– May charge the second device via USB-A
– sustainable power brick

Conso
– It can be chaos with three cables during the entire use
– Fast charging feature is unattractive with Retina MacBook
– Apple’s minimalist does not carry designs
