The Nubian red magic Mars is cheap, fast, ugly, and the dogs that are drawn by animals

Nubia finally sells a phone in North America. Unfortunately, this is not the most exotic dual screen but the most modest MARS MARS game. We have repeatedly talked about how most games phones are not suitable for more than competition, but at least Red Magic Mars tries to justify the name with customized shoulder buttons and put custom games.

Red Magic Mars provides advanced devices at a reasonable price, usually it is fast. Although I noticed some hiccups in the system that brought matters to crawl. It is good for Android to be morely damage than the effect. Building quality is solid, but the devices are not especially attractive, and the work environment has taken a back seat to the aesthetic of the player. Even if you live under a rock over the past few years, you will immediately get to know Red Mars as something designed for players. It contains this classic angular corner with more severe edges and more metal bones than any of its size. I will present this by noting that aesthetics are very self -evident, but I think most people will agree with me when I say that the red magic Mars is a somewhat unattractive phone.

Unlike most modern phones, the red magic Mars is aluminum. The end is very smooth, so it is likely that you will fall as a glass phone. I am concerned about the screen if it falls. The 6 -inch LCD screen dominates 1080 pixels on the front of the phone. It is sharp enough, but brightness lacks some extent. Nubia deserves some credit not to slap a highly useful secondary camera on the magic red Mars simply because every person has at least two sensors, but they do not expect any miracles. There is a 16 -megapixel rear sensor and 8 -megapixel front camera. Outdoor, the phone takes acceptable pictures with good details and natural colors. It faces a problem with a variable or harsh outdoor light, so that you get dark shades and highlights in the flame. There is no automatic HDR mode, and HDR running does not help manually. In fact, it makes some images look fog or likable.

Taking pictures at night is not a hopeless cause of it, but the experience is not good. Red magic appears to give priority to lower noise through longer exposure. Motion themes often turned into fog. Software, performance and battery

Red Magic Mars operate Android 9 PIE outside the box, and the construction is often stock. This is a good thing because the seizure seems to be tired of everything had a hand. There are little mistakes that cannot be understood and exotic user interface decisions, making the phone annoying to use daily. For example, the network activity in the case bar contributes to other icons of the road when they appear (which they often do). They should work in almost any game, but they are great for mobile shorts. Getting to control fire from the screen makes your competitors so much easier that I feel I am afraid.

Excellent performance games on the red magic Mars, it is assumed that the mode of games kills background operations and moves to the maximum. In general, the phone is usually very fast. However, I have seen some unusual slowdown, and it seems that the pass is strange.

The battery life was generally good, but to some extent on the inconsistent side. I passed some days with a battery life higher than average- more than five hours of screen time within 24 hours with heavy use. Other days, get half that. With a 3800 mAh battery, Red Magic Mars contains what it takes (on paper) to provide a lifetime of average age all the time. I tend to get rid of inconsistent performance to the pre -version program.

Should you buy it?

Maybe not. Nubia Red Magic Mars is not a bad phone. It is (usually) very fast thanks to Snapdragon 845 and wide random access memory, and the price is able to compete. I can see some buyers obsessed with games simply take one of the shoulder buttons, which will make you strength in games like PUBG.

Red magic pierces over its weight on the specifications sheet, but there are some harsh edges – including comes literally Coarse edges. I do not care especially the design, and the angle bot is unpleasant. The seizure could have at least made the light strip fun to play with it, but it was almost almost suspended. The construction of Android 9 pie on this phone can also use some works to clean errors and interface elements.

If all you care about is to have the fastest interior parts for the lowest price, then this is the case. However, I don’t think the experience is good enough to recommend this device. You should put $ 400 towards a different phone.
