Only two months have passed since we reviewed the wireless earphones in Liberty Air, and now we look at – or listen to – Liberty Neo. A group of freedom ear collection should not be confused from the other ANKER sub -brand called zolo. Why Soundcore needs two distinct models, but at a similar price is the first question that I thought about. Liberty Neo (MSRP is $ 60/58 £) and Liberty Air (MSRP $ 80/80 £) features graphic laminated drivers, Bluetooth 5, and IPX5 resistant, but there are also some main differences to justify more quality and difference between quality. suitable. To reduce the price to sixty dollars, a number of bells and other biles are missing, however, the sound quality is amazing. They will not compete with models in a higher price slide, but if you are on the market for a very cheap set of real wireless ear headphones to run with a gym or transfer it to the gym, it represents a safe bet.

Design and construction |
They will not win any design prizes, but they are heterogeneous and the plastic construction is not very cheap. |
comfort |
The suitability is decent and is light enough so that it does not become a nuisance during long listening sessions. |
voice |
There are real wireless earphones much better on the market, but it is difficult to do better at this low price. |
issue |
It is not very huge and can easily pocket. Rubber base so that the surfaces do not get away from the surfaces are a nice touch, and the LED battery indicators work to work well. |
price |
MSRP is really $ 60, and you are likely to be able to capture it for less for sale. |

Battery life |
3 hours well, but do not match Air Liberty or modern models of competing brands. |
buttons |
I am not a great fan of touch control items, but I also don’t want to push these things to my ears every time I want to get a path. There is no volume control over devices either. |
micro-web |
In 2019, it is difficult to accept the lack of USB Type-C, even on a cheap product. |
Quality of communication |
As with most real wireless earphones, the microphones are not great in capturing your voice during calls. |
Design, devices, what is in the box
The appearance of new freedom can be easily described as functional. I don’t think it is ugly, with earphones advanced, but I also don’t think it is especially attractive, and the clear white logo on each one can put some people. However, at least they do not acknowledge the AirPods style of Apple, even if this means that it comes out of your ears a little more than others.
If there is a major defect in the devices, the buttons should be. The most expensive groups tend to come with touch control elements – aside Master & Dynamic MW07 – but I still think the solution can be inconsistent and difficult to reach. The buttons can be better because they are more by touch, but only if they are placed in such a place so that you can press the buds instead of pushing them to your ear. The buttons on Liberty Neo are located in that second category, and do not feel pressure on them. The individual pressure on the ear editions will stop/run or answer a call, with one second fight required to skip the front (R) or the back (L), and a double -click to connect to the Google Assistant. Unfortunately, you should use your phone if you want to change the volume – this is little.
When you don’t push them to your ears due to the controls, these earphones are already comfortable. It is not especially small but at least light. The suitability is also driven enough to stay in your ears when running or in the gym, unless you are very strong, and the IPX5 classification means that it is complex. I got an amazing good seal, even with tips and ear wings outside the box, and this really helped the sound quality in general.
The issue is not noticeable but solid. It should be small enough to fit most of the pockets and has a rubber base section to prevent it from slipping from the tables. Three LED lights indicate the battery life when the can open (with individual lights on each earphone as well), and the joint has a pathological click on it. Unlike many real wireless earphones, there is a rubber plug to protect the Micro-Usb port from dust and debris. Inside the retail box, there is a good set of tips and other wings so that you can customize the suitability to suit your needs. There is also a short Micro-web cable to charge it-this is not for you if you yearn for a USB-C life.
Voice quality, features and battery life
Although there was no luxurious rapid pair, it was easy to prepare Liberty Neo. I did not expect to deal with sound quality, and I was not, but this does not mean that these earphones do not look good. There is a good warmth and balance, although the brightness can lack and write it somewhat depending on what you listen to and there is no place near the details that you will get with a more expensive pair of earphones. They also do not get it out loud – a global complaint with cheaper ear headphones – but your ears are likely to be grateful in the coming years. However, the sound produced by these things is definitely better than I expected, and I doubt that you will find the same money.
There was very little of the distinctive audio/video time, making it fine to watch videos on the move. With Bluetooth 5 on the plane, there were only very accidental communication problems, and only came in urban environments built with a lot of overlap. The connection range was as well as any other husband I tested, and it extends along my apartment without a problem.
Compared to the Samsung Galaxy (left) and active Jabra Elite buds (right).
Due to the lack of the opposite SoundCore app, you cannot adjust the audio profile in any way and you will not get any updates for fixed programs – no big surprise at this price. Also, other luxuries such as detection of corrosion are missing, so you have to remember to stop them manually while taking it out of your ear to speak to someone. Although it is proud of the microphones to cancel the noise, I did not find that the quality of the call is different from most of the other products of this type-and this means, it was absorbed. Everyone on the other side could not simply hear well, especially when you are outside. This is restrictions on all real wireless ear headphones, in my experience.
It has been constantly managed by the battery life about 3 hours when using Liberty Neo to listen to a variety of music and podcasts. This is not very bad, even if it is half an hour less than 3.5 hours announced. It does not match the 5 hours you get from Liberty Air and Jabra Elite 65T or 6 hours can be proud of Samsung Galaxy buds, but they are equally with most other cheaper models. The issue is good for nearly three full fees.
Should you buy it?
certainly. If you are looking for a pair of real wireless ear headphones that do not look terrible, you should fit the bill. They are comfortable wearing and they are likely to remain well during exercise – they are resistant to sweating. More money gives you better sound and more advanced features such as touch control and discovery, but it is nice to feelings rather than necessities. SoundCore Liberty Neo does a good job of balance between the basic features at a low price point and therefore easy to recommend.
