The Exlens and GCES pairs have tied up to create some high quality lenses designed to take the iPhone photography to the next level. For $ 200, the Exolence Pro you want to pay for the Standelone camera by Optics by the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus is almost worth the price you want to pay for the standard camera, but the lenses are free, compact and you can capture the image that can capture your iPhone.
There are dozens of cheap lenses in the market, but most cheap options are unable to measure the quality you get with the Gis/Exleance Combo in $ 199.
Design
Exolence Pro arrives in a padded box and a number of mounts to fit in iPhone with iPhone 7, iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.
Just beyond the package, the XOLENCE PRO is different from other lens options. It is an inch long and similar to the circumference of a standard pill bottle, it has a strong weight. The outer part of the lens is made from aluminum and the glass of the lens is protected with each side cap when it is not used. Jis is on the side of the branding lens, which looks like a DSLR lens smaller than the standard iPhone lens.
Inside the box, there are two carrying bags and any accessories for the lens with the hood of aluminum lens and an installation guide.
The lens mount, which fits above the camera lens of the iPhone 7 Plus, contains two pieces – an aluminum outer mount and a soft gel liner. The two pieces are assembled and then falls back on the side of the iPhone camera, a process that is faster and easy.
Once the lens mount is done in place, the XOLens Pro can be screwed in the place and is ready to use it. Despite its weight, the Exlens Pro feels stable and secure on the back of the iPhone.
When the lens feels safe, it adds a lot of weight to the iPhone and changes the balance of the device. It is unreasonable to hold it and I need to use two hands while taking pictures. Even then, I was worried that it would fall back from my hand.
XOLens Pro cannot be used with skin or case on the iPhone, so there is no real way to add extra grip. The extra weight of the lens and most parts make it more difficult – it does not fit in the pocket, and is useful to be used for other purposes with attached lenses.

The quality of the lens and the picture
The lens is a Gis Motor 0.6X ASPH T* Wide-Engel Lens, which is equivalent to 18 mm. It is wider than the default iPhone camera, which Apple says 28 mm.
At 18mm, Jice Wide-Engel Lenses are ideal for landscape shots or indoor regions and lenses have an anti-reflective coating that seems to improve the quality of the image when the outside is bright.
Pictures caught with the lens are sharp and clean as the lenses without lenses, and there is no distortion on the edges, a common problem with a wide-angle camera lens designed for the iPhone. I have never seen any sign or color erosion.
Bottom line
This is something of a niche product, and the truth, I am not sure who it is noticed. The average iPhone user does not want to shell $ 200 for the larger-Engel iPhone lens, they should also have a better camera equipment that photographers need a wide-angle lens.
