Xiaomi Redmi 9 Review: Entry (approximately)

While the pioneers have become more expensive than ever, medium phones and beginners give us better devices than ever at the same prices at reasonable prices. Xiaomi Redmi 9 is no exception and provides a large value of 150 euros (or 10,000 dollars like Redmi 9 Prime In India). If Xiaomi is more invested in a better and less processor in preparing the quadruple camera that has been largely implemented, I can recommend this phone without reservations. As, this phone is still a good option for some people. Xiaomi Redmi 9 is a great phone if you need All ports. It provides USB-C, NFC, headphone socket, Micro-SD Micro, and even IR amplifier. It is rounded by the fingerprint sensor, the battery life above the average, and a good enough processor (but out of great). Xiaomi’s latest Redmi is one of the best options at its price, and the benefits outweigh the problems a lot.

Redmi 9 is a plastic phone through and lessons, but Xiaomi went with an elegant tight back that makes the phone to hold and hide the fingerprints somewhat. The camera group is concentrated at the top of the back and arranged vertically (regardless of the depth sensor and flash on its right). The lower part of the camera’s fingerprint sensor has a fingerprint sensor. I was initially afraid that I was constantly touched on a lens instead of the symmetrical sensor, but I was modified and it was not a problem.

Regardless of the usual things such as a SIM launcher, there is a case and a 10W charger in the box.

Gently bend the back on both sides, where you will find a double MicroSD SIM + slot on the left, click and respond to the power button on the right. At the bottom, you will find one loudspeaker shooting a bottom, headphone socket, and a USB-C port. The top includes only the microphone and Blaster IR.

When you turn on LCD 1080 x 2340 6.53 inches with pre -screen protective, you will immediately notice the front camera degree of water. The lower edge is slightly larger than the device on top, but this is not unusual at this price. Although the screen becomes bright and has acceptable colors, it only contains a very narrow width angle. This means that you cannot tilt it too far in any direction without obscuring the screen. Some other angles have been cut: the fingerprint reader can be more accurate, the vibration engine feels tinnitus, and the amplifier is small and unpleasant.

Mediaatek Helio G80 pays the pixel nucleus, accompanied by either 3 or 4 GB of RAM. The internal storage range can be expanded 32 or 64 GB via MicroSD. If you have an additional 20 euros to spare it, I recommend going to the 64 GB version – 32 will not make you very far these days, and you can not take out everything to the MicroSD card.

Software, performance and battery

Like many modern Xiaomi phones, Redmi 9 operates the eleventh repetition of MIUI, but the V12 has already been updated to the Chinese alternative. MIUI still looks strange in some places when you come from another Android phone, but it approaches more of the stock programs compared to our condition in 2018. You can configure the navigation button arrangement, add an application drawer to the default launcher, enable the notification icons, and disable most of the ads in applications Xiaomi, remove some of the completely installed applications. European models are charged even with Google Phone, messages, and GBoard instead of custom applications, and there is Google Discover on the main screen on the far left. However, I still face some random application accidents and had some stability problems. Your experience may vary greatly in other regions as well – we have heard about a lot of huge programs and the way more ads are made on Indian Xiaomi phones, for example.

Miui still has its own dodges, but it has approached Android over the years.

MediaTek Helio G80 is far from the leading processor, which you will notice in daily use. Heavier applications such as Twitter, YouTube, Maps and Google Discover are mill and late, but other applications such as pictures, messages and YouTube music work smoothly. Transferred tires and sparkling animation are especially annoying in Chrome, where you will see a lot of delay when visiting heavy ads websites.

Next to something like pixels, Redmi 9 is constantly slower, but this is expected. Once other phones are placed, the rough edges are less clear.

Although it is a problem that the G80 does not excel in some daily tasks, the performance of the games was amazingly good. You can play simple games such as Alto’s adventure or Odyssey without hugs, and while animal crossing sometimes falls a frame or two, they are still playing. It is a different story when you try to withdraw more dense 3D games like Fortnite or Minecraft.

The 5,020 mAh battery provides a lot of juice thanks to the low power processor and the aggressive MIUI improvements for Xiaomi- only remember to always exempt active applications such as Fitbit in Settings -> Applications -> Application Management -> (Your application) -> Battery saving and Autostart. This is stupid, but it is only the way Miui deals with background activities. Even with some exempt applications, I have easily reached 6-7 hours of time on the screen while leaving 30-40 % in lighter days. When I pushed the phone with navigation, images, browsing the wide web, and more, I still have 20 % at the end of the day. If you are not a heavy user, you can easily use Redmi 9 for two days without charging, and perhaps up to three.

The cameras are not great, but they are definitely acceptable in this price range. The 13 -megapixel sensor takes good pictures when you get a lot of light, although I noticed his tendency to detonate the prominent points. Low lighting performance is a concept sublime. Pictures begin to show noise early, but this is something struggling with this price range. Regardless of the light, the images saturation is very inconsistent – some of the shots are unrealistic and unrealistic and others are flat.

If you are a person who has not used micro cameras or a wide angle before, you may enjoy the unique perspectives they present, even if the image quality is faded. Macro 5MP lens is not only multi -use and useful in special circumstances, but at least it has a higher accuracy than many other smartphones that are thrown only in Macro 2MP is useless to raise the number of sensors, including approximately $ 700 such as OnePlus 8. Also interesting views, but the color cloning is worse than the main camera offers. I imagine that most people will adhere to the basic camera because it is the most diverse in the piece. Xiaomi Redmi 9

In this price range, yes. If you can get rid of more than Pixel 4A, OnePlus Nord, or even iPhone SE, do so – they have some performance space and may last for a longer period. But if you set a large limit of 200 euros (or 10,000 dollars), the Xiaomi Redmi 9 is one of your best options. It calls all the basics of the connection, and then, gives you a lot of battery life, and has a passable -price processor.

The cameras are fine to share the basic WhatsApp and Instagram photos, but they will not dazzle anyone. I still love seeing the CPU better, perhaps at the expense of cameras or two (or even three). If you are in the United States, you may be interested in Moto E 2020 similarly, although it does not outperform the connection and storage interface.

Purchase it if:

• You are very sensitive to prices.

• You need two days of battery life but don’t care much about performance.

• Want All ports.

Do not buy it if:

• You have more cash to spare it for Midranger 400 euros 400.

• You want a good camera.
