The entry-level and high-end Bluetooth headphone markets are pretty saturated, with plenty of decent options under $100 and a number of premium headphones priced at $300 or more. There aren’t many pairs that catch our eye. But the Sennheiser Accentum Plus are an interesting option at what I consider a mid-range price.
More affordable than premium offerings from the likes of Sony and Bose but still solid in Real money While Sennheiser’s latest headphones don’t quite hit the high end of the market at $230, they don’t quite reach the heights of the company’s flagship offerings, but for anyone looking for good sound and long battery life at a more realistic price, the Accentum Plus headphones are worth checking out.

The Sennheiser Accentum Plus aren’t exactly flagships, but they are fairly pricey. At $230, the Plus sits comfortably between the older $180 Accentums and the company’s higher-end Momentum 4 Wireless, which retail for $380 at retailers. They’re not hard to find: You can get the Accentum Plus from retailers like Amazon and Best Buy or directly from Sennheiser.
What are the good features of the Sennheiser Accentum Plus headphones?
A lot actually
The Accentum Plus headphones aren’t on par with Sennheiser’s more premium offerings, and their sound reflects that. They sound very good, but they don’t push the boundaries of Bluetooth audio the way Sennheiser’s top options do. Still, I think Sennheiser’s Accentum Plus headphones are a great fit for a budget-friendly budget. very good More than good enough for the segment the Accentum Plus competes in.
The sound comes through clear and spacious without any unusual compression or annoying ANC hiss. The Accentum Plus headphones handled everything I threw at them admirably: Mac DeMarco’s bouncy lead guitar cook something good Sharp and defined, while the sub-bass is something like Legend says The Run the Jewels headphones are nice and thick. The Accentum Plus headphones don’t offer the same response you’d get from the Momentum 4 Wireless headphones, but the bass boost in Sennheiser’s Smart Control app helps.

Momentum 4’s weakness could be a major drawback.
As with Sennheiser, battery life is also really impressive. The Accentum Plus can last around 50 hours on a charge with ANC enabled, which is enough to get you through a full work week and then some time between charges. It takes a little over three hours to charge the headphones from zero to full, but Sennheiser says a 10-minute charge will get you around five hours of playback time.
I also think the Accentum Plus are really comfortable. Many headphones, even more expensive options like the Sony WH-1000XM5, start to feel uncomfortable after a few hours of wearing them, especially where the band touches the top of my head. Not so here: the Accentum Plus are comfortable enough to wear throughout the workday.
What’s bad about the Sennheiser Accentum Plus headphones?

For the price, there’s not much to complain about with the Sennheiser Accentum Plus. I think the biggest downside is probably the headphones’ lackluster noise cancellation; with noise cancellation turned on and music playing at medium volume, my ears let in more outside noise than I expected. You’d have to crank the volume up quite a bit to drown out nearby conversations. They’re not bad, but they’re not as powerful as I’d expect from larger headphones.
I find the controls on the headphones a bit unintuitive. Swiping up and down adjusts the volume, and swiping forward or backward skips tracks in either direction. It’s all simple enough, but enabling or disabling active noise cancellation requires a quick double-tap on the right earbud, which isn’t entirely obvious.
There is also a single hardware button that controls three functions: summoning the digital assistant, power, and pairing. A single press opens the configured voice assistant, a long press turns the headphones on or off, and a long press turns the voice assistant on or off.Are Pressing this button activates the pairing process. You’ll be able to complete this process in an afternoon, but it’s not the most elegant setup.
There’s no IP rating, either, so you can’t guarantee that the headphones will withstand rain or sweat. That’s not uncommon for headphones, even high-end pairs — but it’s still something to consider when spending hundreds of dollars.
