The keys I tested felt great, with plenty of space. You’ll definitely hear these things in a quiet room—they’re very loud, and the base is metal, so they bounce around loudly—but I doubt people will notice them in a busy gaming environment.

Learning to use this keyboard was very difficult for a full-size keyboard user. It was like using a smaller laptop keyboard but missing some important keys. If you are 100% used to keyboards, you will notice the absence of arrow keys. To access them, you need to press the function key and K, M, comma, or period. This process is definitely an acquired taste.
However, if you’re used to this style, you won’t find anything better than Logitech’s offering. There are plenty of mechanical keyboards with fancy switches and layouts, but Logitech has long been a front-runner in high-performance gaming, and optical switches are definitely a boon in that regard. I’ve used a number of gaming keyboards over the years, but I’ve never settled on a 60% model. However, the Logitech Pro X 60 stands out as one of the best I’ve used.
Should you buy this keyboard?
At $179, this keyboard is a bit pricey. But it’s no ordinary keyboard, and its price is in line with competing optical keyboards like the Wooting 60HE+. It’s nicely compact, high-performance, and a joy to use for both touch typists and gamers. It’s especially good if you have limited desk space or prefer to carry a keyboard around and don’t want to bring a full-sized monster. However, the lack of arrow keys may be a bit of a turnoff for some users who aren’t used to using layers.
Overall, the Pro X 60 is a great gaming keyboard with great features. It’s perfect for gamers who are already accustomed to the 60% layout, and it’s easy to learn if you’re not. It’s Logitech’s best-in-class keyboard, and it delivers on quality and value. While I won’t be destroying aliens or enemy invaders anytime soon, I’ll be adding this gorgeous pink keyboard to my desktop arsenal.
