OnePlus Buds 4: A slight improvement in its predecessor

by red

The ear market has become stagnant over the past few years, as most companies produce adequate buds, regardless of the price point. They usually make gradual changes from one version to another, and although I hope to say that this has changed, it was not so. This is what happens with OnePlus Buds 4.

Buds 4 offers some new features and improvements on their ancestors, OnePlus Buds 3, but this is not really bad; It is not exciting. They managed to settle themselves as a good option for medium buds if you are on the market for them, as long as you are ready to overlook some things-such as a price height of $ 30.

OnePlus Buds 4 is a good option for medium -level ear headphones. It provides great and customized sound, decent battery life and price quality. However, the sound becomes muddy of higher sizes, and the allocation of the African National Congress Party is very heavy and a little trouble. But for the price, it may be worth buying.

What I like about OnePlus Buds 4

Minimum design, decent ear headphones

Outside the box, the Buds 4 is not truly protruding, especially the stormy gray color, which is more typical for black devices. It is simple and elegant, if this is what you prefer, but they also come to the Zen Green game a little more enjoyable.

The buds are rounded with a bar, without any bells or large whistles, so perfect if this is what you are in. Ear dimensions have more unique shapes, being more oval than the round, and earphones come with some scaling options. I was surprised that I had to use a different size for each ear, but once I say everything and do, the buds settled comfortably.

It was generally appropriate! The 4 buds were barely noticeable during the long sessions in my office or walking around the neighborhood – they are lightweight, so I often forget to be in it. They remained in their situation, and I was never concerned that they might fall. Even during weight lifting sessions, they did not budge. In addition, thanks to the IP55 classification, they withstood the ill -treatment well, especially when I was arrested in short rain.

What I really appreciate about Buds 4 is suitable options. Through the Happy Melody application, I managed to perform a noise and verification check to ensure that everything is placed properly. I also had an ear test to improve the sound specifically for my ears using the golden sound option. The application itself is simple, but I found that I have a smoother experience with the None SelpPhone 1 headphone and its corresponding application.

In general, the same application made a set of customization options, from basic to more advanced modifications. OnePlus Buds 4 taps are used for most functions, and sliding to control the sound level. It is easy enough to stop/play, dual -clicking on songs, Triple Tap to return, although I had a problem getting the only click to work at all – more about that later.

You can also choose to prepare it with your AI assistant or use it as a translator if you have the OnePlus phone. Besides the translator’s option, there are a few exclusive features for OnePlus phone users, such as fixed Connect, which allows a long -range Bluetooth connection, and the option to place the game as well. OnePlus Buds 4 features dual connection, which is great to switch between my phone and a laptop. The conjugation was relatively simple, which seems to be the standard these days.

Oneplus Buds 4 in the ear

Regarding the sound, the buds presented 4 decent sound profile. After changing the buds to find this “golden” sound, the sound quality was good, although I found myself switching things correctly. The buds enjoy the support of SBC and AAC coding programs, as well as LHDC 5.0. The melodies looked good in low to medium sizes, but as the sound level was raised, the sound was almost fragile.

However, I did not face any problem with different types of decent audio files, from the Beatles. yesterday To Zayde Wolf’s Wrestler And even a little Throw the coin to your witch. The total sound did not blow me away, but it was still fit enough for the price. In addition, if you want to prevent the world, Buds 4 offers several ANC modes, allowing you to specify the amount you want to hear.

For calls, I did not face any communication problem and hear anyone I called, whether on the laptop via Google Meet or on Pixel 8 Pro. Also, sound quality was good to watch videos, movies and other media. Finally, the battery life is decent but not unusual, it lasts about 6 to 6.5 hours with the enabled the African National Congress Party, and 11 hours without it. Although the 4 buds have fast charging, they are wired.

What I don’t like about OnePlus Buds 4

Not much has changed since the last model

My experience with the buds was 4 mostly positive; However, they were short in some areas. While the numbers control items are simple enough, they were not perfect. I found myself by mistake the songs with one touch when I was trying to stop the music, then click frankly to return. The buds seemed to ignore me when I made one click, even when I tried both earphones. Therefore, while the control scheme is essential, its use is actually frustrating.

As Taylor mentioned in his previous experience with Buds 3, the sound is completely decent, but he has problems when it exceeds a certain size. The sound is not clear and full as it should, regardless of what I listened to. Although I have no OnePlus phone, I tested the buds on the laptop for games. The sound has actually succeeded in reality, but it managed to make the Hades II pictorial sound a little frightening, a crime. (It is incredible.)

Another disadvantage is the African National Congress (Stay with me). The African National Congress Party has set itself good. However, since it contains levels, you should go to the Hey Melody app and set the settings. If you set it on its height, OnePlus is proud that these buds are unacceptable to the AI-A-APLISTER AI-APLIST noise, which is very good. However, you have to enter and appoint it to this situation. And if you want to change it, you should return to the application and set the settings.

By default, he was appointed to a moderate ANC, which is adequate, but the adaptive situation was hit or missed, as the buds could not decide whether noise should be prevented or allowed. Sometimes I am in the middle of the time, and one of your buds will run randomly, while the other remains negative. There are definitely other ear headphones doing it better, like the ear nothing (a). Also, Buds 4 does not offer wireless charging, which is more than a nice feature at this price point. However, at a price of $ 30 more than their ancestors, they may have it.

Nothing (a) Review: a proper investment

The battery life is not simply a source of concern with these earphones

Should you buy it?

Average option is decent

If you reach this medium -term option, there must be some settlement areas. Although Buds 4 does not go to the soles of the feet with Pixel Buds Pro 2 or Sony’s WF-1000XM5, they will not let your bank account cry either. It provides good sound quality, decent battery life, minimal cost -cost style – although Zen Green is very amazing. Aside from the Buggy control and the need to overcome the application, it is very good given the price range, but it is priced like OnePlus Buds Pro 3.

In general, OnePlus Buds 4 offers some decent features of a price of $ 130, which is very convenient to wear in the long run. Therefore, if you are on the market for some decent ear headphones and do not want to spend a lot, this may be the most appropriate for you. If you have OnePlus, you can really take advantage of the additional features.
