Returning to CES, anchor PowerWave announced a docking station for 3-in-1 stand, iPhone, Apple Watch and Airpods that also include a removable power bank to charge your devices and a few months later to finalize the product, it is launched today.

I had a few days to try to go to PowerWave and I could say that this is a cute gadget that is effective for erect people in Apple ecosystem. I have been using Belkin’s Magsaf 3 -in -1 charger in my bedside for the past few months, so it is for convenient comparison to change it for Powerwave Go.

Powerwave is made of most gray plastic, but it looks beautiful and looks so solid. The front of the main body is influenced by a disappointment that keeps a slot for the rechargeable power bank, which is doubled as part of the phone’s phone charger, as well as a spot to charge the airpods or airpods Pro case wirelessly.

The AirPods charging spot has a USB-C port at the top of the body where the individual Apple Watch connects the charging module. Completely assembled, it is a fairly attractive look charger that provides a versatile setup.

One of the significant restrictions is that the unit says that the unit is not compatible with the iPhone 12 Mini, as the device’s smaller size charging coils prevent the lining properly in the stand mode. The phone will work well in power bank mode.

The entire docking station is included by a single five-foot USB-C to USB-C Cable and Anchor’s new Ultra-Compt Nano II GAN charger, both charger and only in the box.

In this desktop mode, PowerWave provides 10 watts charging power for a phone, though an iphonee will be limited to 7.5 watts due to Apple’s constraints on non-magsaf charging solutions. It will provide 5 watts on the Airpodes charging spot for the Apple Watch Charger and the USB-C port.

When you are ready to go on the street, you can simply catch the removable power bank from the base because it has only been placed magnetically and takes its strength through the Pogo PIN contacts. On its own, the power bank can then power up to 10 watts and supply up to 20 watts from a USB-C port.

If you have to charge your Apple Watch on the go, what you need to do is to pop the Apple Watch charging module of the main body of PowerWave and attach it to the USB-C port of Power Bank and you are ready. Anchor’s Apple Watch includes a plastic cover to protect the USB-C connector while loose in the module but I can see myself losing it at any time. The USB-C ports are pretty hard though I am not too worried about losing the cover.

Since the Apple Watch Charging Module uses the USB-C, you can use it separately without a power bank or docking station, as it connects directly to a USB-C power adapter or a USB-C port to a computer.

The power bank holds a 10,000 mAh charge at 3.7 volts for a total of 37 hoo energy. This is enough to charge most of the iphone model about two to four times. Power Bank can be charged directly to USB-C, so you do not need access to the PowerWave Go Base to recharge it. And thanks for charging Passthru, you can charge your phone wirelessly while recharge the Power Bank.

When comparing the PowerWave to the 3 -in -1 dock of Belkin, there are some aspects that I like about each of them. As the first point of comparison, Belkin stands on the stand magSffe when Anka does not stand. I can see Magagsafee hand easy to set my iphone to charge with a very clear look, but Powerwave Go’s stand is as easy as my phone is in charging position.

Powerwave will not charge faster like a balcony charger, but I’m usually using it overnight so speed is not actually a reason and can actually be a harmful if too much heat is generated. Belkin’s Emagsafe aspect means that support is now limited to 12 EPhone 5 12 lineups, while PowerWave may support the wide range of Qi-compatible devices.

PowerWave Go’s Power Bank has a fairly bright blue light that comes only when it charge a device in stand mode or portable mode. So for those who are sensitive to light at night it is a matter of being aware.

I definitely prefer Powerwave’s airpodes charging spot above Belkin One, at least I use it daily for airpods. It is very easy to put them in the spot on PowerWave, when there is a slight disappointment on the flat surface of the balcony and the charging light comes and confirms that it takes longer than that I am located properly. Belkin setup allows to charge for larger devices like another phone at the airpods spot but it is slow and not something that I never need to use.

Powerwave Go’s portable conversion aspect of definitely Belkin 3 -in -1 is something I like and I like that I can only choose the power bank and Apple Watch Charger and be ready to go. I have been using Apple’s Emagsafe Duo Charger for the little trip I have recently done, but the PowerWave Go Portable Setup offers more flexibility that it does not need to be plugged in.

All of these benefits do not come cheaper, the price of PowerWave is $ 179.99, which is $ 40 more than Belkin dock when buying via Apple. However, a quality build, with wireless charging, supports a number of Apple devices, also includes a great 45W wall charger with a removable high-capacity power bank and anchor, which has a lot of value in this package.
