When Karl B announced the first phone, he promised inspiring products to help maintain a smartphone revolution. And while I enjoyed phones like Nothing Phone 2, I never felt that I was using a device that changes the game. It is still too early to know that, but CMF Phone 1 can provide PEI vision. A mixture of strong performance, the wonderful screen, and most importantly, the price at reasonable prices made me really excited about the smartphone for the first time in a while. Nothing has been exploited to anything that I hope will realize other manufacturers: it is not charged to be boring.

The CMF 1 is installed through nothing that smartphones are still enjoyable. Mediaatek Dimensity 7300 provides a lot of energy for $ 200, allowing a smooth experience. Like Noteing Phone 2, CMF Phone 1 is available for purchase through the company’s experimental program in the United States. It is only sold in one composition: 8 GB of RAM with 128 GB of storage. Although phone 1 is offered in four colors: black, orange, light green and blue, you should not be married to your first decision. Each color is available as an additional $ 35. Unlike traditional telephone situations, these are similar to shells, as they work like a phone behind, with the completion of the screws and a SIM card that matches color. It is difficult not to start showing the CMF 1. It is the best AMOLED 1080p panel in its 6.67 -inch category at 120 Hz. I liked the screen on the Samsung Galaxy A15 that I recently reviewed, but I love the board on the phone 1. It is bright, saturated and vibrant, and it is the best screen I saw on a phone less than $ 250. Movies look amazing with deep contrast and fine colors, and games emanate from the screen. If you take one thing away from this review, this is that the CMF Phone 1 screen deserves the acceptance price.

Nokia Lumia 830 is the last time I remember to switch the phone shell for cosmetics. It is a great idea, and there are many situations and groups to educate the appearance of your phone 1. I don’t understand why it took a long time to do something like this. The cheapest phones will have plastic and plastic frames, so instead of making them nice and ugly, why don’t you tend to a feature? The cases add to the unique appearance of the phone, and although the screws may take a few minutes to connect, they add peace of mind, which prevents your phone from falling.

Nothing also kneeling the CMF 1 with a liquid cooling system. The company added a cooled frame alongside the device with the graphite in the front and back. Unlike the graphite in Chernobyl (thanks, HBO), this substance helps to waste the heat quickly. I cannot confirm the science behind it, but I can talk to the results. I usually need the oven glove to capture the full complete phone to download the full Genshin Impact, but the 1 phone was completely great. It is impressive, and I have no doubt that it will perform better on long game sessions.

In addition to the design, CMF Phone 1 is impressive for $ 200 due to its rapid performance. It is supported by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 slides collection, and provides a significantly larger power than the low density of 6100+ and Helio G99 – the usual suspects in this price range.

The Genshin’s effect was smoothly on the lowest settings, and Pokemon Go was a pleasure to play. Instagram and Facebook manuscripts were managed without problems, and rarely faced delay or slowdown. The 8 GB of RAM on the device helps its weight. RAM is very important for budget phones, and I am happy nothing has not left us suspended. If you do not expect major speeds, you will not be disappointed by the CMF 1.

I enjoy nothing android flavor. The company does a good job in adding enough personality and customization without the system stumbling. Nothing OS 2.6, based on Android 14, is not different. It is clean and enjoyable, with no tiny tools. When initial start, I offered you a choice between standard Android appearance with virtual codes or nothing more than logical. When you are a child in the 1980s, I always choose the aesthetic of the company’s DOT matrix – there is something that can be said about nostalgia. I wanted to promote more than two of my upgrade Android, but I am happy that there is nothing to offer three years of security updates to phone 1.

Photography is another unexpected bright point of the CMF 1. It is basically one camera phone features a 50 -megapixel lens with a depth sensor in support. I can only choose to include one camera. The function is more important than the diversity of the budget phone – give me a good sensor I can use, and I’m happy.

The pictures are clear and colorless without looking for saturated. I was affected by the variation and depth of the photos, which was definitely what I expected for $ 200. Low -light photography is still a challenge because images become soft. Moreover, you will not be able to get these super pictures with friends or enlarge those shots that are difficult to get. But it is difficult to make mistakes in the phone 1 camera when the photography of the point and lead looks well. Personal photos are dealt with by a 16 -megapixel front camera that does a respectable job.

What I did not like about the CMF 1 phone

I was expecting a better battery life

I wanted to perform better than the 1000 mAh phone battery per hour. Six hours of time on the screen is not bad, and you may be able to extend it with measures to provide batteries (I don’t eat anything), but the cells of this size usually lead to better results. If the comparison is the best performance of 7300 density, I will consider it, but I hope that anything can contact the battery over time with updates.

I am happy that nothing included a 3.5 mm headphone socket for your favorite headphones because you will need it. The sound of the individual speaker of the phone 1 is weak at best. Holding the phone naturally, I can easily prevent all sounds. Even with a loudspeaker without hindrance, the sound was hollow and lacking depth.

Should you buy it?

You may notice that the section for things that I did not like on the CMF 1 phone is very thin. They are deadline devices when companies make their products correctly. It is not an ideal phone by any way, and you will still know that you are using a budget device when you try to get more tires in your favorite AAA game or editing videos. But all of them were said, when I use $ 200-300 phones, by the end of the review period, I usually look forward to embracing the Galaxy S24 Ultra or Pixel 8 Pro-but I don’t feel with the CMF 1.

It is time to have a budget phone from a company that realizes that inexpensive phones can have a style. So, although I will not fully call it the CMF 1 revolutionary phone yet, it is good to see anything environmental that moves in the right direction.
