Last month, Jager’s charging brand, Mofi Apple and Jag’s own storefront, published several new charging accessories and spent the past few more interesting topics to see how they have measured.
Powerstation 10K stand with Magsaf
The first one is the Powerstation 10K stand with Magsaf, which combines with a portable power bank with a hard magsaf-assured charger to charge on a desk or on moving.
Powerstation 10 K stands a strong metallic kickstand that folds flat for travel and storage, but there is a significant amount of resistance to the wrist so that it is stable across a range of opening angles depending on your needs. A rubber pad around the lower edge of the kickstand keeps the metal from scratching your desk or other surfaces.
As an official certified Magsaf Accessories, Powerstation 10K stand can charge your iPhone up to 15 watts, contrary to the limit of the 7.5-watts imposed on non-respected magsph-compatible and other QI wireless chargers. In practice, I could see Mofi’s charger slower than Apple’s own Emagsafee charger, but of course still faster than the non-magsaf wireless charger.
I have seen the emagsafe charging speed regardless of whether Powerstation 10 is being charged in Stand Pass-thru mode while being connected to the power source or in battery-cable mode.
Another convenient feature of Powerstation 10K stand is its 20-watt USB-C port, which can not only be used as an input to re-fill the integrated battery and pass the power through an iphone in the MMAGEFE charger, but the charge of the devices through the cable can also be used as an output.
If you are after the fastest charging speed you would like to use that USB-C port with one cable instead of EMAGSAFE, it certainly refers to one more thing to carry with you.
And you can charge two devices together (wired via a USB-C port and through a wireless emagsafee), it is noteworthy that the total output of the charger is limited to 25 watts, so it will be divided into two charging points.
This means if you are trying to charge two iPhones, for example, depending on the charging procedure, both will not be able to charge their 15-watt or 20-wat maximum. But if you are charging an iphone and a lower-power device through a low-power device such as Apple Watch or Airpods through the USB-C port, for example, you will still see full-speed charging for iphonee.
When it comes to the internal battery of Powerstation 10K stand, the capacity of 10,000 mAh of “10K”. This is theoretically an iphone 14 Pro Max’s 4,323 mAh battery should be more fully recharged more than twice, although you will not see the level of performance in the use of real-world due to some of the wired and especially wireless charging.
In my test, I was able to get about 1.2 charge for my iphone 14 Pro Max while charging through Emagsafe, so it is definitely a significant reduction compared to the battery, but for example it is enough to travel overnight while outside the grid.
There is another feature of Powerstation 10k Stand that I will probably not use too much but it is still noticeable, and it is a standard ¼ “-20 tripod socket for users who are in the bottom end of those who are in the field or in other situations where not enough to place above the flat surface.
Overall, Powerstation 10K stand with emagsafee is a convenient accessory with a solid build quality, and I found that it works well as a desk stand and is easy to toss in a computer bag for peace of mind that some extra energy is available wherever I live.
But a major downside is the price, which is regularly thick $ 129.95. Fortunately, Jag is currently closed to 30% sales on its own site, which reduces the price to $ 90.96.
Nevertheless, potential customers may want to see the Mofi Snap+ Powerstation Stand, which provides a very similar feature set without official MMAGSAFE support, but at a much lower price point. You only get a 7.5-wat charging from the magnetic charging pad, but if this is closed to accept acceptable trade, you can get snap+ stand for regular prices at the current sales. 69.95 or just $ 48.96.
Speedport 120 4-Port Gan Wall Charger Travel Kit
The second Mafi accessories I am trying to see is the Speedport 120 4-Port Gan Wall Charger Travel Kit. The name is mouth, but it is a simple kit centered around the four-Port USB charger than it can provide 120 watts charging power to the compact package for the Gan technology.
It uses an separate power cable design that releases outlet spaces when allowing a flexible place like desk or nightstand, although it costs an extra bulk for the cord compared to the direct integration in the charger.
The charger has a USB-C port for flexibility in charge of three USB-C ports and devices array. The USB-C ports can charge up to 100 watts, while the third USB-C port can provide 20 watts and the port at USB 12 watt.
Keep in mind that with the total output of 120 watts from the charger, you will not be able to use all those ports at the same time, but overall it allows a strong amount to charge the power to charge a complete set of devices at a rationally speed.
Also included in the kit is 1 meter USB-C to Lightning Cable and 1m USB-C to USB-C Cable. The two USB cables and the power cable come together with the Velcro twist very well to hold all together and the whole setup is packaged by an interesting felt pouch that secures it through an elastic loop that hooks over a button on a button.
The pouch is divided into three bogies to keep the charger, power cables and USB cables and it creates a convenient package for the street to go. Contents are efficiently packed inside the kit, but there are enough additional rooms that you can fit with the Apple Watch Charging cable in additional cables or two, as you can fold them roughly and they take a lot of space. The elastic closure also helps to provide flexibility to close the bag inside a few additional items.
The perceived bag provides a stylish look and provides protection to its interior content and other items that can be tossed in a larger bag with a kit.
Speedport 120 4-Port Gan Wall Charger Travel Kit is regularly $ 139.95 dollars, which feels a bit on the high side with the number of ports and the overall power output. However, with the current sales of jag, the 30% discount brings the price to a more reasonable $ 97.96.
