Jagir Mobile Charging Station for Apple Watch and iPhone is both a portable charging platform and a backup battery for your Apple products. It is meant to be used while away from a power source, including 5000 mAh battery. It has enough ability to provide a complete charge for both an iPhone and an Apple Watch, it has a little juice left.
There are several features that exclude the mobile charging station, excluding other portable charging solutions and a unique pop-up design that charge Apple Watch in landscape mode and folds flat for travel, but it is expensive and obsolete in downside.
Design
Jager’s mobile charging station is not an attractive accessories, but it is effective. Made from black plastic with red plastic accents, the charging station has a pop-up charging platform for Apple Watch, allowing it to charge in landscape mode and it includes a built-in cable management system.
It was not at the top of the clear aesthetics priority list in creating a charging station. It feels well made but the materials used as well as the dense black plastic certainly do not match or complement the iPhone or Apple Watch.
In a bag, backpack or purse, the charging station is quite portable, but it is not pocketable because of its thickness. In width and height, it is the same in the form of the iPhone 6S Plus, but it is twice thicker. It is all plastic, black and red inside, the bottom to protect it from the harmful desk and other surface with a soft padded strip.
The two parts of the mobile charging station are separated so that the charging cables of the iPhone and Apple Watch can be inserted. The Apple Watch Charger first moves, the USB edge plugged in to the USB port marked with the Apple Watch symbol. From there, the cord can be covered around the center island, which adjusts the length of the entire 2 meter cable. Once the Apple Watch cord is wound, the charging pak is placed inside the nominated slot, which is adjusted at 90 degrees corners from the plane to 90 degrees.
Gaggzi includes a power cable for the iPhone, which is less than the standard cable. The iPhone Cable is not wrapped around the island of the center, instead plugs the USB slot directly at the top and dropped it down. In this way, there is actually a little cord left while using it and I hope the cable is a bit shorter. I fixed it with 1M Apple Watch Charging and using my own 1M iPhone Cable, which could be covered around to make it smaller.
Keeping both the iPhone and the Apple Watch cable in place, the top of the Jagge Mobile Charging Station can be scattered again, hiding the cords and releasing the right end of the electric cable and opening the Apple Watch Charger. The two parts of the mobile charging station are kept together, which is strong enough to protect it from a bag or backpack. Finding cords inside and outside the mobile charging station is relatively easy, and the cord management system works well.
Both the closed-loop and open loop Apple Watch Band fits the pop-up Apple Watch Charges and open loop bands can also be charged while being flat at the top of the mobile charging station. The pop-up Apple Watch Charger is a cute design material that makes Apple Watch easy to charge while running and it is best to get support for nightstand mode. Apple Watch Charging Pock Charges When Apple Watch Charges, an Apple Watch and an iPhone can charge both at once.
Apple Watch has a cute stand for charging, but it is not the same for the iPhone. I hope Jag created any kind of iPhone stand to propose the iPhone to give more utility, but here is only a simple thunderbolt. At the top of the mobile charging station, there is an LED that gives an estimate of how much battery life is left and a device will have to press a button to start charging while plugging in a device. There is also a micro-USB port to charge the station itself.
My largest grip with mobile charging stations is related to how it charge. When the 5000 mAh battery dies inside, it needs to be charged using a 6-foot micro-USB cable in a long, dense and ugly. It is dense enough that it is not well -bored and it completely ignores the convenience of keeping my iPhone and Apple Watch cords.
When I travel, is it supposed to take this dense, irrational micro-USB cord with me? Without micro-USB cord, I can’t use the charger for more than a day and I do not want to bring the super thick micro-USB cord of Jagar while traveling. Obviously someone can solve this problem with a different micro-USB cord because most of us have the oodles lying around them, but here is just surprised the choice of jag cord here.
Considering the cord, the best use case for the mobile charging station seems to be at a desk where it has a permanent charging position, including day travel, long working days, school and other times where charging can be needed for Mid-day to remove it.
Battery life
Jagog Mobile Charging Station has a 5,000 mAh battery, at the same time charging the iPhone 6S Plus and an Apple Watch is enough to provide a complete charge. With smaller iPhones like the iPhone 6S, the battery will move further and thus it is most suitable for iPhone users with small power devices.
In my exam, the mobile charging station has charged my iPhone 6S Plus at a satisfactory rate. I plugged in a completely dead iPhone at 5:08 and in 5:55 it was 50 percent battery life. At 7:25, it was taken at 100%. I dried up my iPhone again, but the left battery life at the charging station was only able to charge it at 3%.
I saw a similar number while charging my iPhone and Apple Watch at the same time. Both were completely died at 5:41 and I plugged them at the full charged charging station. At 7:24, my Apple Watch was fully charged and my iPhone was 95%.
Jag has claimed that the mobile charging station can provide a full charge to an iPhone and Apple Watch and this is true – I have received exactly a complete charge for both, but there is nothing more than that.
As the mobile charging station itself, it takes several hours to charge the empty using the micro-USB cable.
While charging my devices at the mobile charging station, I noticed the word a high-pitched shouting once or twice. This is not something audible all over a house, but if you are sitting next to the accessories, it is noticeable.
Bottom line
Jag’s mobile charging station is like a questionable use of several mobile Apple Watch Charges in the market. Jag simply did a good job with wire management features and pop-up Apple Watch dock, but those features and built-in battery make the mobile charging station a standard 5,000 mAh battery pack and more expensive.
Jaggie is charging $ 79.99 for mobile charging station For comparison, anchor sells 10,000 mAh battery at Amazon for $ 21.99 and it is the same common size as a jagge mobile charging station. Of course, it does not only manage or any pop-up container for the Apple Watch Charger, but it is twice the power of one third of the expenditure. Does the additional features of the mobile charging station value $ 55? I am not sure
I was not fond of the design of the mobile charging station because it never matched the aesthetics of my Apple devices that I look for in Apple Accessories. Others cannot object to the look, and even with the price premium, I see that the mobile charging station can be effective as a hassle desktop charging accessories that gives users the option to occupy it and go in a day that requires extra electricity.
