Should you buy it?
We have covered many connected home security systems such as NST and Ring, but these systems can cost hundreds of dollars. This is only for a group of beginners as well. You may get north from an adult before connecting all your doors and windows. Enter Wyze, which made a name selling ultra -smelling security cameras. The new Wyze Sense costs only $ 20, and pairs with current Wyze cameras.
It would be unreasonable to expect the same performance from Wyze Sense that you will get from something like Nest Secure, and indeed, he is not strong. However, you can get a sudden amount of jobs to change the Chump. Wyze Sense can tell you when you open the doors, and when you discover the movement, the videos are recorded based on those signals. There is no alarm component at the present time, but this looks like a great way to start the connected home safety.

Design, devices, what is in the box
I will admit that I am partially enthusiastic with Wyze Sense because it is very compressed. The entire system comes in a box that suits the comfort of your hand. It consists of a bridge, infrared sensor, and magnetic communication sensors. Each one is small, barely larger than a quarterly quarter of the United States.
Unfortunately (but it is understood), you need Wyze Cam to use Wyze Sense. The bridge contains a USB plug on the back, which draws attention to the back of the camera. Sitting completely on the surface, but there is a tab tab for pulling it back. According to Wyze, the bridge is not Zigbee or Z- Each sensor is directly connected to the bridge, which limits the range. However, I did not have any problems.
The movement sensor on the left and the right -right contact.
Contact sensors have an adhesive back on the back, and you can install them on anything that opens: doors, cabinets, drawers, etc. The “closed” magnetic sensor records about about centimeters, so it is multi -use. The motion sensor is a little thicker than the connection sensor, but it is still compressed enough to fit almost anywhere. The movement is reliably discovered (technically) anywhere in a large room. You can see along the road below the hallway in my house, about 15-20 feet.
Senior sensors contain small metal cell batteries. Wise says they are good for about a year, but I can’t check it. You can pull the rear covers to replace the batteries whenever they die.
The app and features
Wyze Sense is distributed in the same app as Wyze Cam. After installing the bridge in the camera, preparing the sensors is a light. You only need to use PIN reset pin to turn on the sensor, and it will be discovered in the application. Give him a name, and put it wherever you want.
The Wyze app is a little hit and a beauty. The design is good, and I love the home page displays all your sensors at a glance. However, the camera features have always been carpets. Although Wyze gets a thumb to submit 14 days of free online video storage.
After adding sensors to your application, you need to go to the settings and configure the camera (if any) that you want to record a clip when he performs something. This is a little intuitive, but it works well by just forming everything.
The Wyze application launches the notifications whenever one of your ritualized devices comes out. You can quickly jump to the application, watch direct videos, or review the registered clips. It is clear that the missing piece of the puzzle is the alarm. A real security solution like Nest Secure makes high noise when running. What you will get here is Ping on your phone. There is also no way to enable and disable sensors based on your site.
Should you buy it?
Yes. At a price of $ 20, Wyze Sense firmly in the “Buy Motivation” area. If you have already got a Wyze camera, this is a non -mental way to expand the benefit of the camera. Even if you don’t have the camera, you can get the full setting (camera and meaning) for $ 40. The job you provide is worth the price. You can also buy additional sensors: $ 20 for four connections and $ 6 for a movement sensor.
I will not trust Wise with pressure on security needs. It is missing alarm, geographically, keyboard, and other advanced features. However, for basic security and monitoring, it is a good and unparalleled deal.
