Over the next few weeks, I have been closely focusing on the iPhone X cases from broad manufacturers. Case reviews are often not featured MacrumorsHowever, with the introduction of the iPhone X and its complete rebuilding design, we felt that it is perfect for exploring some of the case options in the market.
This is the third review of the series, the other two are available here and here.
For all my reviews, I am focusing on the general usage of the iPhone X cases. Extreme drop tests and depth tests are not covered because these factors are less important than how the case works on the average day and it is often easy to say how to be protective of any case.
Below I focused on the factors such as bulk, button accessibility, general protection, grip, thickness and presence.
Nodus
Nodus is known for its high-quality leather cases, and its access case is provided for the 3 iPhone X £ 49.99 (~ 65)), access is a folio-style case that amazingly thin.
There is a general design of access that keeps the iPhone X glue that says nodus micro suction, “several million microscopic suction cups” on the iPhone. The glue (or micro suction) does not feel specially glued when touching and so it does not pick up lint and other detritus, but it is tightly drawn to the glass of the iPhone X.
I have turned the access upside down and shakes it and my iPhone X is not a bit disconnected, so I am confident that it is safe enough for daily use. What I can’t test is how to hold the suction over time. Since it is not adhesive and is not dirty, it should not be held, but it is a small risk.
It takes pretty good amounts to get out of access to the iPhone X, but the glue can be used repeatedly so that you can find it whenever you want. Since there is no internal case to put the iPhone X in place, it is the thin folio case I have seen for the iPhone X
I like the folio design because it protects the display of the iPhone X in the pocket, but there is no protection for the phone’s side and I don’t want to drop it in this case because it can leave the flap open. Inside, there is a soft microfiber and a little flap that can keep cash, credit cards or something else you like. Back, there is a cutout for the camera. For those of you who do not like the lip under the display, in some cases nodas will prefer.
With folio cases, I find a bit hard to access the volume buttons on the iPhone and it is no exception with access. At the same time both buttons need (such as screenshots or power down down) it is awkward when using gestures that both buttons are required. Access Case Wireless charging supports the effectiveness.
Rokform
Rokform iPhone X, Crystal Case and Rughed case make two cases, both of which are worth $ 50.
The cases of the Rokform are made from a solid plastic to rubber edges that come to the wrap around the iPhone X and protect the display. Volume and power buttons are protected, but there are cutouts for camera, muted switch, thunderstorm ports and speakers. The crystal case is fairly thin, when the angry case is dense and as bulkier it is made from dense material. Both are easy to grip because of the rubber edge.
In the case of all Rokform, an inclusive car is made of magnets with vent mounts and ships. By name, the car vent mount in the car is used to mount the iPhone X to use the map and other apps with other applications while driving the car.
With the magnetic, the cases of the Rokform may also be stuck on magnetic surfaces like the refrigerator, but since the magnets are in the iPhone X, the wireless charging module is located just above it, which means that the cases of Rokform do not support wireless charging. I can’t get wireless charging to work with the Rokform case.
In both cases, bikes, cars and motorcycles are also compatible with other types of mounts and accessories, so I would say that they are not suitable for most people, but they have niche apps that need mounting options and need more protected protection than wireless charging.
Moses
There are several cases available for the iPhone X and have sent me the stealthcovers to check out. $ 39.95, the steelthcover is definitely the most strange of the iPhone X cases I used.
It offers 360 degrees protection for the iPhone X. Thanks to the front cover of a plastic. It is designed like a standard iPhone X case like a stiff plastic back and protective rubber edges, but the left attaching to the plastic cover, which also protects the display.
The display cover is a gray -gray plastic that allows to show the time and has a cutout for the Trudeth camera, the face ID works so that you can unlock it. To use the iPhone, though you need to open the cover (which is magnetically closed snaps), which can cause trouble.
The cover is connected to the case through a flexible bridge element, so when you want to use the case continuously it is folded backwards and the volume/power button cover is designed to give them easy to press them. I like that it provides complete protection for the iPhone X and its cover is closed-it is not a feature given in most other folio-styles.
When you can focus on that time and your notifications, some of the text cases have become obscured by the connection of the case, it is an unfortunate design monitoring.
The steelthcover is made from a great smooth plastic that is easy to grip and the design is smooth and stylish. If you are planning to toss your iPhone X in the pocket or bag most of the time and are concerned about the display and edges, this is a possible solution in this type of case. Steelthcover works with wireless charging.
Peel
The dollar cases worth $ 25 are designed to be very thin at 0.35mm. These cases are similar in thin plastic cases that are available from different range of other manufacturers. For example, I have reviewed the two quite the same case in the roundup in the past and the catephy.
There is no branding of khosa cases and they are very thin as they look amazing on the iPhone X. Thehes these cases have any weight and almost zero bulk associated with these cases, but there is a warning. They are about to protect the iPhone X from scratches, but they are made of plastic that is not too thicker than paper pieces, so there is not too much drop protection.
If the iPhone X is put under the mouth of the mouth it has no lips around the display (and therefore no lip from the bottom of the phone) to keep it away from scratching), and if you drop the iPhone X with these cases, I’m not sure it’s a nude iPhone It would be much better than dropped. Since khosa cases are made from a smooth plastic, they do not add lots of grip.
Khosa cases come in different types of colors, they all look beautiful with the iPhone X, though there is no clear option, so you are going to lose the shiny stainless steel rim with one of them.
Khosa cases are similar to having nothing on your iPhone, but they provide scratch protection. Add them to a screen protector and your iPhone finishing device will be initial for life (if you don’t leave it).
Bottom line
If you do not need mounting options I will avoid the Rokform because it does not allow wireless charging and the cases are built around all mounting functionality. If you want a folio case, I think the nodas are as thin and continuous as they come and if you want something a great thinner that is like using a nude iPhone, a good choice.
Since it was a brief details of the cases from several different companies, I supply additional photos about any case listed in the forum and are happy to answer the questions. I will cover additional cases from X-Doria, Magbac, Spigen, Oaterbox, Caseology and more, which will be divided by the end of this week and at the end of the next week.
Note: Nodus, Rokform, Pill and Moses provided the macrumors with the iPhone X cases for this review. No other compensation was found.
